What attractions are you NOT allowed to videotape?

The ones that I know of are:

Dinosaur
American Adventure
Soarin'
Probably Haunted Mansion, Misson:Space, and most indoor (dark) attractions

I wish that you could videotape everything because with those Disney withdrawls, it would be good to cheer me up.

Have a great trip!

you can tape in HM just no lights or flashes, I tried when I went last spring but it came out really fuzzy and dark. I taped in most of the rides in fantasyland, Most of the rides you can tape on and you dont get told to much about it, If its something that doesnt let you use a light or flash they will tell you. The lady at Country Bears was really nice to me and let me sit front row once the show started and film so I got some great taping from there. You just have to check the signs on the rides, most of them will tell you.

i have filmed a.a. two times already and through 1 show had 2 cast menbers standing not very far away i think all they want is for you to film from the back rows and thats the only way to film that show anyway.

I would suggest not taping on rock n roller coaster. Its not because Disney does want the ride taped, its because you go upside down and you could loose your camcorder and hit someone else in the face. Its really looking out for not hurting yourself or other people. It is really hard to hold onto one while going 60 mph.

True, but technically RnRC pulls only positive G's, so in theory you could place the camcorder on your lap and it would stay there (don't try it.)

Others I can think of:

Finding Harpo the Musical
The Seas with Favio and Friends (although I'm not 100% sure)
American Adventure
Soarin'

With the exception of Finding TiVo the Musical, American Adventure, and Soarin' they don't specifically ask you not to tape most attractions, however it could still be prohibited.

Filming any of the 3-D attractions would be foolish (it wouldn't come out correctly) AND annoying.

Hmm I don't know, I never said anything to people that wanted to videotape Mission: Space. No one ever told me that it wasn't allowed :D

Or Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress.
I tried to do that once, but the cast member told everyone at the little "opening speech" they make to not film, but then another time I rode it and they said nothing and about 3 different people were videotapping.
Oh well.

I guess I will just ask the castmembers running the attraction.
