i say within the next 2 years something BIG will happen to its a small world. I also say more substantial and credible rumors will start about a new park.
Do you think they'll build a new park soon, and if so what do you think it will be

I don't think we'll see another major theme park in the next 5 years at WDW... But I do think some major revitilization is going to happen in each of the 4 parks they already have, most notably Epcot and Animal Kingdom... I think we'll soon start to see the wrath of Gemini, if not in 2003/2004 then in 2004/2005... and in Animal Kingdom, I've seen aerial shots of the plce, there's so muich land there just waiting for another major attraction or even land! THat could come as soon as 2004, at least to my predicitions!

I bet they are already thinking and planning a new park and they are going to announce it in the next few years. I also think they are going to "redo" SSE. And The Living Seas will close. (that's what I'm guessing don;t ask me why I just have a hunch.) And I also think ticket prices will go up!!! :brick:

Perhaps... so long as anything new does not stray from the original intentions of not only the Disney Co. but also what the actual park (Epcot) was intended to be...:animwink:
As for AK, same applies, although AK has a different purpose... And AK has a bit more leeway, in terms of "thrill" rides...No new park in the next two years
There definitley won't be any new park in two years, that would be way in the future! Definite rehabs in the two parks mentioned above and with great need of refurbishing in EPCOT!!!! Hopefully it will become good again. The only time that park gets crowede in the off season is to see the Reflections of Earth Show at night. Can't wait to see the improvements in Epcot, anything would be an improvement!!!! Just add some to the countries though and keep those marvelous restaurants!!!

i think (and hope) that they will try to distract us with refurbishing and adding new things to the parks while at the same time plan a new park. that way the GP wont know that they are planning a park because they will be paying attention to all the refurbishments and additions to the rides, restaurants, etc.

3. Philarmagic will open a few days after I leave.
4. Disney will continue to try to put things right.
5. Disney will continue to get the odd thing wrong.
6. There will be a greater range of pins to buy.
7. Epcot will get some much needed attention and hopefully some new stuff.
8. People will continue to miss the point of AK.
9. MGM will get another E attraction( I wish) or at least a replacement for Hunchback.

Oh, Animal Kingdom will definitely get a new E-Ride in the next few years...no question about that. It is a necessity. Problem is, I don't see a single E-Ride saving this park...maybe two new e-rides and a bunch of filler rides (D and C class)...they could do all that for how much it cost to build Mission: SPACE...maybe if they could get another rich sponsor...like, have McDonald's pay for Animal Kingdom East, and Taco Bell pay for Animal Kingdom West...or make Fuji the official film of Animal Kingdom ONLY
