Well, I finally got some info on some of the stuff we'll be getting this year, so I can now join this topic! here's my list, in no particular order:

- Grind House
- Superman MAYBE
- Ice Age 2
- X-Men 3
- The Da Vinci Code MAYBE
- R.V.
- Monster House
- Cars
- PotC 2
- Southland Tales MAYBE
- Poseidon MAYBE
- Lady in the Water
- Ant Bully
- The Benchwarmers
- Click MAYBE
- Date Movie
- Final Destination 3
- Garfield 2
- Idiocracy
- Over the Hedge
- The Passion of the Clerks
- Scary Movie 4 MAYBE (only if it's the same team as Scary Movie 3)
- Snakes on a Plane MAYBE (waiting for a trailer)
- Super Ex-Girlfriend
- Nacho Libre MAYBE

Some other titles caught my attention, but since I don't know anything about them, I'll wait for more info.

EDIT: And about The Village, my main problem with was that it was marketed as another thriller/horror movie, and it really wasn't. I kept waiting for the scares, and they never came. Also, being able to "guess" the ending halfway through made it loose its appeal. I liked Signs a lot better. It's Sixth Sense, Signs, Unbreakable and The Village a distant 4th on my list. Here's hoping Lady in the Water will be better.

But why did you go into the movie like a detective? That's because of his previous work and how it was marketed. And that was a HUGE mistake. I personally didn't care much for The Sixth Sense because the first time I saw it, I was trying to guess the big twist that everyone had been talking about. That was dumb of me because I had it figured out about halfway through and it ruined the movie for me. I just sat back and watched The Village and I was floored by both twists. I think alot of people went into The Village with the wrong expectations/attitude, but it's not really their fault either.

I wouldn't say that I went in as a detective, but I agree when you say people went it with the wrong expectations. The movie was marketed all wrong. I didn't go in Signs overanalyzing every scene.

OMG... just saw a thing on Mtv about Hostel. :dazzle: :hurl: Is anybody going to go see this? I'd never even heard of it til this morning. Good grief. I won't touch it with a ten foot pole, because that would leave me not sleeping for years

Scarie movie 4 - not a chance!
I would not waste a penny on it. Ok the frist one was very funny!!
The second one was a little funny, the third one was corny to say the least. Now they are making a 4th. What a waste of good film & money.
