So, what are everyone's plans for Valentines Day this year??

My bf and I came up with a compromise between girly stuff and manly stuff to do. We're going to an expensive Japanese Hibatchi Grill restaurant that I picked. And for the "guy" stuff, we're going to see the movie Daredevil. It's the opening night for it.

Once again I'm all alone on this day (maybe that's why I hate it? )

Ah well I might go home for the weekend cause I haven't seen my family since december.. if not maybe my roommates and I will go out on a guy hunt. Bar that I'll do what has become a Valentine's tradition for me.. watching "You've Got Mail" lol...

Hm... Well, my friends is having a Valentine's Day party on the day before Valentine's Day (Thursday). Apparently, people who are single must wear black, people who are in a couple must wear red and sketchy, smarmy types must wear both... Luckily, my closet is filled with black stuff, so I have no problem.
Meanwhile, V-Day falls on a Saturday, so I'll more than likely be doing what I always do on Saturday... I'll either be at my friend's club here in town, drinking for free or in Orlando at a Disney park or at my buddy's house planning trouble. heh.

I've been married 22 years--dated him for 3 before that.

Neither of us is sentimental.

Both of us resent the fact that florists have a "Valentine's Day up-charge" and refuse to pay it.

Every restaurant--even Boston Market--will have a wait of over an hour.

Evening at home for us.

Perhaps I'll dust off the heart-shaped cake pan...

Nah... She calls me "Baby", or "Didigo", which is one short for Rodrigo. "Roddy" is my American nickname... :lol: And just for the record, I call her "Broto" which is how Tramp calls Lady in the Portuguese dubbed version...

I just figured since you're the only other "Roddy" I've ever met besides my ex, that maybe even though you are international, pet names would still be the same.
