What are you celebrating?

Every time I've made a resort reservation and they ask the ask the question "What are you celebrating?" I say "Nothing this time." And I am not celebrating anything in particular, but I do feel as though I am celebrating, celebrating the return to Disney and FW.

Are most of you celebrating when you go? Or do you just go for the enjoyment like my fiance and me?

We usually go for enjoyment, but recently went for my birthday. Didn't realize how well they treat you if you have a birthday pin on :p

Well, you could say you're celebrating that you're at WDW (or on vacation)! On our last trip ('07), DH and I were celebrating our four year anniversary. And the trip before that ('03), we were on our honeymoon. This time around ('11), it's going to be my DM's first trip to WDW (and possibly my DB--and it will be his first trip as well).

Last trip we were there for our oldest daughter's birthday...this trip we will be there for my birthday and our 15th wedding anniversary. So excited. I look at websites of the Yacht & Beach Club...almost daily...is that sad or what??? Birthday lunch at LeCellier, anniversary dinner at Kona's.

Celebrated my 50th Birthday on May 8 2008 at WDW.

Have to agree with oogabooha, they really treat you very well if you have your Birthday button on.

But must admit I am really getting tired of answering that question every time I call.

I always go for enjoyment and to de-stress myself.

We go to WDW every September so nothing in particular is being celebrated but, each time I book my next trip to WDW, I spend the next 12 months "celebrating" the fact that I'm going back.

You should experience their reaction when you tell them that you're celebrating the fact that you were just cleared on twelve counts of murder. A generous "just kidding" should follow, trust me.

Well my parents anniversary and mom's b-day will be a week or two before our trip in Sept. They (WDW) asked us when we booked and we told them. I guess we'll see what happens.

This trip will be my BF's very first trip. We are very excited because he traveled all over the world on cruise ships and has never been to WDW. It is also his 40th Birthday this year. Very exciting!

200th post!

Our last trip Dec 2008 was for my birthday. But when we got there I got a birthday pin and so did my daughter. Her bday is 3 weeks after mine. But when we got back to the room the first night I had a balloon and a birthday card with a picture from Mickey. I was so excited. Unfortunatley, my daughter didn't get one because I hadn't told them about her bday as well. But she said she was ok with it because it was originally my trip. I still have the balloon and card!!:sohappy:

To be honest, i think when most people go to disney they are celebrating because they are relaxing and having a well deserved break! Which, i know for most people who work hard..is worth celebrating!!

This year at disney it is my birthday though!!!! :sohappy::sohappy::sohappy::sohappy:

This year it will be for our 9 year anniversary, although we actually had to push our trip back a week so instead of our first day in the parks being on the exact date it will be after the actual day.

While I was there celebrating my b-day last year I saw one guy who wrote on his I'm celebrating pin "My Awesomness" I thought that was funny.

I've only been there twice when we weren't celebrating something.
Most of the time, it's been birthdays we were celebrating. My mom, sister, & I have all celebrated our birthdays there.
My next trip is in August, we get there 2 days before I check in for my college program.

hahaha! that's wicked funny!

I usually make up a reason to celebrate. Last year my friend and I celebrated completing our first year of college. This year I'm going with a different friend and we're celebrating being best friends since we were 2 :)
