What are willing to pay for FastPass+?

Let's face it, the time is coming (probably sooner than later) that Disney will start charging for FP+ given the need to satisfy the shareholders, who are becoming increasingly greedy. What are you willing to pay for each POS transaction? Personally, I will not pay for FP+ under any condition. Disney did not spend over a $1B for a system if there was not a plan to recoup the cost plus interest. We're paying some of the cost now with increased ticket prices, but that is just a drop in the bucket. There's a goldmine embedded in every RFID MagicBand/Card especially when a credit card will have to be linked to said band or card. Disney hopes to strike it rich over and over. Hi, ho, . . . .!

You realize you just slandered all Disney shareholders.

One Little Spark...
DCL can take my money until the mentality infects them...and I move to one of the "of the Seas" ships. :p

My child is 10 this year. Only a few more years will she be interested in the Disney aspect vs the WOW aspect...

Paying for something like a FP+ is ridiculous and it may happen, but I'd doubt it. If people realized that they were going to have to pay for something that they could go and stand in a line and NOT pay for it, which do you think they'll choose? Yes, it's a rhetorical question and the answer is probably 50/50.

If Disney wants to recoup their money for MDE, then they need to focus on other areas. Improve the dining. Get better, more "land"/area/ride/park specific merchandise (For the most part, I did all my shopping at Downtown Disney prior to heading to the MK for MNSSHP this year) because most of the stuff is the same everywhere.

As far as ticket prices? It's pretty much been the norm that they increase the price every year (give or take a few times).

I refuse to pay for something like that. FP+ should be available to everyone not just the ones that can afford to shell out the extra cash. Busch Gardens Tampa is like that I think. The last time I was there I think you pay an extra $40 and it would get you in the rides way faster than waiting in line. Just doesn't make sense... I hope they don't try this bc they're going upset a lot of people.

I think it's more a matter of when, not if. I fully expect to be paying for some sore of "enhanced experience" including FP in the next 5 years. How long has Uni been doing it?

Me personally, I will not pay for it. For the first time in almost a decade we do not have a trip to WDW planned and no desire to plan one in the next few years. The 50th might just be our next trip.

I wouldn't pay anything extra for it. I've already cut back on our sit down dining on previous trips due to decline in quality/value. We are doing a short trip to WDW in a few days. This summer we are skipping our annual 8 - 14 day trip in favor of two one week trips elsewhere. If they decided to go this route I think it would be a long time before our next visit.

So IF they do this and go to this type of FP+, are there going to be different levels? Like you can pay and get a FP+, but if you pay more, you get a FP+ that gets you to the front of the FP line?

God bless the "Ignore" button.
They still have yet to earn me back as a guest, let alone someone who would pay extra for something that should be free with admission. (And also reverted to the old system, just paperless.)
