What are those rumours that just won't die...

Just wondering, what are those rumours that just won't die?

I can think of a couple ones:

The -gulp- wand
Disney-MGM? Studios

What are those others that we heard, that died, that were brought up again by news a cast member "received", died again after Disney denied having any plans for it, then re-opened again after Disney supposedly filed building reports for a staircase or something with Orange County?

Well, the wand has always been debated, but recently there seem to be more sources and news reguarding it's removal. MGM's contract expires soon, and therefore the news is hot.

Well I think Beastly Kingdom is dead enough that no one debates it anymore. Heavily debated, however, are: the next E-Ticket at MK (next five years, but a question of what); replacement for 20K; new ride(s) for Adventureland; new thrill ride to replace CoP; Space Mountain refurb (when, not if); Haunted Mansion refurb (now confirmed); Jungle Cruise refurb (when, not if); Universe of Energy refurb (soonish); Spaceship Earth refurb (confirmed); Journey Into Imagination refurb (????); new countries in World Showcase; new IllumiNations (when, not if); new water ride in Germany; new raft ride in Canada; new roller coaster in one of several locations in World Showcase; Indy ride; Star Tours 2.0 (likely); Great Movie Ride demolision or refurb; drastic retheming of MGM (pretty likely though we don't know what the changes will be); continued Pixarification (Disneyfication?); next E-Ticket or land for Animal Kingdom; new resorts all over the place; 5th gate; monorail expansion; bus system changes; 3rd (pirates) water park (3rd water park is at least being discussed); new waterslide for Typhoon Lagoon in "Boneyard"; Wand and Hat removal (former soon); how will they "fix" Downtown Disney?

I think ISTCNavigator57 covered everything pretty well. I would say the wand is the most popular rumor to be ressurected. Of course, people hear about the fifth gate all the time...the most recurring topic as far as the fifth gate goes is the villian thrill park concept. Oh, and I've heard that some building behind AK was meant to be a new monorail barn, so that one goes with the forever untrue monorail rumors. After we saw a permit for a "travelling water screen", we just *knew* that AK was getting a nighttime show...I don't know if this rumor has been ressurected yet though, I only remember it coming up once.

There's never a dull moment around here, though. When people bring up new rumor, the place buzzes. However, I think old rumors get more attention (ie. many posts with "This has already been discussed!" in them!).
