What are the chances??

we are going to be in disney Nov. 10-14 and we are definetley getting the dining plan. We have decided to forgo the frustration of reservations. Were gonna call around in the mornings to see what cancellations there are. If not we are just going to get counter service or TRY to get walk-ups. What are the restaurants with the best chances of us getting a reservation in the morning or a walk-up? I know this was not a good plan, but whatever.:p It is what it is. haha.

why do you blame the dining plan for not being able to get a reservation the same day at disney? do you think crowds increasing every year might come into play here?
Yes there are more people but at least half of them would not be eating at those restaurants every night. But since they "paid" for the dining plan, they have to make ADR's for every dinner to make it worthwhile. The dining plan is one of the worst things that ever happened to WDW.

I think you best bet at walk-ups are at the resorts and at off diner times. Meaning 4":45-5:30 or after 8:45. I think the resort restaurants are less busy than the parks and if you get there right when diner service starts they will probably be able to get you in.

Agreed - PLUS - In order to have some flexibility, I've known folks on the DDP who make multiple ADRs for dinner times/locations each day. This gives them options and guarantees them a place to eat. I think this is wrong, Wrong, WRONG and I hope the new online ADR system eliminates this loophole.
