what age seemed best

My daughter has been to WDW 4 times and today she is 25 months. She has enjoyed each trip. The last one in Oct, she still kinda remembers when you ask her things. But the way my wife and I look at it we are not so much making memories for her, but great memories for us with her being there so small and having the pics and videos to document it all. And when she is older she can look back at it all and enjoy all the pics.

My kids wehn when they were 20 months and 4 yrs. They both LOVED it. My son(20months) learned the fine art of the meet and greet with the charecters. You shake their hands/give hug trun to mommy and daddy and smile for the camera and walk away! LOL He loved the charecters and so did my 4 yr old daughter.

My son woke up every morning and said Ride? Park? So much so when we got home and I wanted to take them to an reg park with grass and a swing set my son always got dissappointed! He always asked where the ride was!:ROFLOL::ROFLOL:

My daughter remembers splash mountain and keeps talking about how she has to go on it next trip.

They are now 5 and 8 and are headed back in March and in November of this yr.

I also remember being 3 yrs old and we were visiting my grandparents in FL and my mom and dad went to WDW with out me! Talk about mean! :p I have never let my mom live that one down:lol:

My kids have both been going to Disney every year since they were 6 months old, DD is now 11 and DS is now 6. Both of them seem to remember things from the trips they tooks at about age 3 1/2 and older, before that they don't remember a thing.

I am still doing research :sohappy::D

Seriously though, I have a 4 1/2 year old DD who has been 10 times, and 25 month-old son, who has been 5 times.

All of our trips have been special, and we have enjoyed all of them!:sohappy:

I guess later in life, I might be able to answer the original question differently.:) I would say, somewhere around 2 is when they really started to get more out of the trips. But again, I wouldn't trade any of the memories (mine) for anything in the world!:sohappy:

Everyone has to make their own decisions, but we are very happy with ours!

DS has been 3 times 8months, 22 months and 2 1/2. He had fun at 22 months, but he REALLY remembers the trip he took at 2 1/2. He still talks about as if it were last week and it was 18 months ago. He remembers some rides and shows. It probably helps that the pictures I took on that trip are my screen saver. Bt now that we are planning our next trip with his little brother he tells me what rides he thinks he brother will like (small world, buzz, train, etc) and what rides he think his brother won't like (haunted mansion).

My son is the same way...he talks about DW ALL THE TIME!!!! We just started planning another trip with my parents and they talk about it constantly. I feel kind of bad because it's still 5 months away and he's so excited about the trip already!

2 girls who have been going since about six months old and enjoyed bits of the parks at various times. Age 2 1/2 seemed to be the age when it really became an all encopassing great experience.

My two little ones were a little on the "older" side. DS was 7, DD was 8, one major plus was they were able to ride all the rides they felt comfortable with trying. They also lasted alot longer walking around the parks:)
