What about Frontierland and Adventureland?

In a podcast Jim Hill mentioned plans that they scrapped to remove the treehouse back when the Pirates movies were actually good. I think they might still keep it and maybe remove Aladdin for a different flat ride and maybe a new E-ticket with maybe TSI getting some new things (maybe a flat ride if possible, probably not).
I think they may just retheme the treehouse.

Celebrating the Magic Kingdom's 50th anniversary with a Tron rollercoaster would be really weird though. If they're refurbishing all of Tomorrowland it would make sense, but Tron is the only thing we know is happening in Tomorrowland and the Magic Kingdom for the 50th anniversary.

I think Disney could do something extra, like a new Fantasyland dark ride. Disneyland has tons of cheap dark rides they could bring to Florida like Alice In Wonderland, Pinocchio's Daring Journey (or, you know, Mr Toad's Wild Ride). Tokyo Disneyland is building a Beauty And The Beast dark ride that could go near Be Our Guest.

If the main plan is to refurbish Tomorrowland, then they have to show what's happening to it at D23.
We think we may get the announcement for the replacement for Stitch, and maybe the stuff like the refurbs for Carousel of Progress announced and maybe the new colors that are coming to ready Tomorrowland for Tron. But the big stuff like maybe the actual Tomorrowland Overhaul through new rides and such will come after the 50th as it is to late by now.

Imagine if Disney revealed that those photos of the destroyed Stitch's Great Escape animatronics was actually them just refurbishing the attraction.

Hah,
The true sequel to Extra TERRORestrial encounter (if I spelled that right)
There are rumors of it being a Wreck it Ralph ride, I don’t think so.
We shall see

They could clear the theaters and make a new show-building, because Wreck-It Ralph doesn't really work as a show.

I am for any refurb that puts the Tiki Room and Country Bears back to the original length.

From what I've heard, while not impossible for the Tiki Room to go back to full show length.....it would take a lot more time and money than Disney would be willing to put into the attraction.

When they changed it over to "Under New Management", they ripped out all of the plumbing for the central fountain to make way for the Uh-Oa animatronic. So when the time came to resurrect the old show, instead of re-installing the plumbing, they just omitted the fountain portion altogether.
So there's that.

But that's no excuse for CBJ to remove 5 minutes of the show for no other reason than to squeeze in a few extra shows each day.

I know,
Unless they are clearing out the theaters which does not seem to be happening unless some one finds a permit they filed to clear it out

Here's what I think they should do:

ADVENTURELAND:
- Return the Enchanted Tiki Room to the original show length
- Remove the Magic Carpets Of Aladdin (even though I will miss it)
- Fix up POTC by removing some of the movie references and changing the Auction dialogue to be less cheesy

FRONTIERLAND:
- Minor refurb on Splash Mountain
- Give Big Thunder Mountain Railroad the effects that DLR got like the AA bats and Explosive finale
- Return Country Bear Jamboree to the original show length
- Bring back entertainment to the Diamond Horseshoe
What do you think should be refurb'd on Splash? I'm interested. I think the priority could be the unloading and consistent log jams towards the end. However I'm not sure how else they could execute that.

The area by Splash and Thunder needs to be completely reworked. Way too much of a bottleneck. The dead ends don’t work with these crowds.

There is space for another attraction I believe. Sort of like how Winnie the Pooh is back in that corner in Disneyland, why not something like that in WDW?

But overall, Frontierland is not the sort of land that needs "updating" so to speak. That is sort of the point of Frontierland, it is supposed to be a relic, a throwback. In a way, so is Adventureland, but they can add a new ride that fits well with the theme.
