I don't think so either but you wouldn't be able to tell that from this site.
let's pretend that the proverbial "alien" without any knowledge of Epcot came along to research about Epcot. they would deduce that it was horrible, pithole with no redeeming characteristics.
I've been here for a while and 95% of any discussion on Epcot is generally negative and I really do think that anyone who does like it would probably never start a thread saying so.

So why not tear it down completely and then just start from scratch. Again I know it wouldn't happen but interesting idea.

No, but if they did I hope they would just push SSE off it's supports and have it demolish all of Epcot in it's path.

I'm going to say...no to demolishing.

AND, said alien would have nothing to compare to. No older Epcot...no lost attractions...so it wold all be new to him.

(unless said alien is Peter Quill aka Starlord....then we know he's been there as a kid...)

Ok, I guess I'll be that guy. I'd say yes. I would rather they just start from the ground up rather than shoehorning things into existing places. I also think by starting from scratch, you can better meld a theme. The only thing I wouldn't remove in future world is spaceship earth. It's the centerpiece and is timeless.

To the OP, thats a big NO! The reason I think this would back fire big time are:
1. EPCOT would be closed for MANY YEARS, remember Pandora took 6 YEARS!!
2. What we would end up with would be WORSE than what we have now! Today's Walt Disney Company does not have the imagination NOR wants to SPEND THE MONEY to re build something great from scratch!

MARK MY WORDS! THERE WILL BE CUTBACKS FROM WHAT WE SAW AT D23 FOR EPCOT IN ORDER TO REDUCE COSTS!

I hope I am wrong, but my guess the new Festival center gets cut/reduced/changed in some way to reduce costs.
