What a Tease.....

I know I was just at WDW last weekend, and I'm planning another trip in March, but my DGF is in Orlando for a work conference and just called to tell me she can see parts of Epcot and Downtown Disney Westside from her hotel room.... :(

Nothing like rubbing it in huh? Almost as bad as the tease I had when I was in Orlando for 2 days last January for a job interview but couldn't get to property at all.....

What's the worst WDW tease y'all have had? A time when someone sent you a postcard from the World, or when you were in Orlando and couldn't go, etc....

lol, this website, for one thing! reading posts where people say "Oh, I think I'll stop by MGM or Epcot on my way back from work to check out the fireworks" or something.

How about this-My dad goes to Orlando for buisness and then goes on MS before I got 2. Then 2day my dad called from IOA and then walked over to US. All in all I'm not talking to him right now. My mom told him it was a good thing tho! lol

Sorry, guess taking the DH or DW thing too far (dear husband or dear wife)

It's my Girlfriend....

My Neighbor went to WDW about a 3 weeks ago and it was her 2nd time ever going. The last time she went was when she was like 4 so she couldnt really remember that much stuff. She went and had no idea at all about mission space. When she was there she called me and said "is there a new ride that you told me about ?" and i said "yes" and she said "guess what" and i was like "what?" i just went on Mission:Space 3 times in a row. And then i hung up on her. i thought she was going to say something like BTMRR and i wouldnt have really cared but she totally made me mad.

The biggest tease I've ever had was eating at the McDonald's at Crossroads. It's so close that you can see the Welcome signs out the windows of the restaurant. It was torture. I wish I could have gone to DTD to get something to eat insteed but I didn't have time. I did make a compromise and got a 100 Years of Magic glass and Lilo and Stitch toy. I was close enough to Disney that I thought it was fitting to get a few souvenirs of McDonalds. :D

My previous employers go to WDW every January (I got them hooked). We used to be closed that week but this year, they put 3 of us in charge and left the restaurant open. I always prepare their itenirary/book their character meals, etc. so it was horrible to be working my tail off and thinking..."Well, they're arriving at MK now"....."I bet they are enjoying their breakfast w/ Cinderalla now"...."Time to find a spot for the parade now". But the absolute worst was when I had to call them after a MAJOR offsite catering and my cell phone was only working OUTSIDE, where sleet and freezing rain were pouring from the sky and I had to keep repeating myself. WHY? YOU ASK? Because they couldn't hear me because ILLUMINATIONS was too loud!!! Loud enough to MAKE ME SICK!!! At least it will be my turn in 32 days!!!!

Seriously...We have a Rainforest Cafe Restaurant near us. (Woodfield Mall Chicago suburbs)

Whenever I eat in there or even walk BY it I feel like they are teasing me about Disney World. It even SMELLS like Disney World in there. :( Grrrrrrrrrr.

I had been planning to go for sometime to Epcot for Mission Space (I did get to go, however, and rode it 5 times). Right after my trip fell through a second time, my friend called me from the park to tell me all about the ride. I was soooo jealous. However, he only got to ride it once, so I'm 4 times up on him =p

Filling up my gas tank, and knowing it's only that far away!

Damn... I think I'm going to run my tank dry this week.

I've never been teased too much but I once called my friend Leslie from the HM because it's here favorite ride and she got mad and wouldn't speak to me for a week. :lookaroun

My family planned a huge trip and wanted to include me, but plans fell through (I got promoted at work, and couldnt vacation). So to cheer me up, they called me from the Grand Floridian, describing it in detail. On their way back in, they stopped by my place and brought me souvenirs, twisting the knife as it were....
Grrr....
