right...but that said (emulation)...walt had a chance to do things more to his liking...so you could say WDW is more disney than disneyland because he had far more resources (land, cash flow etc.).

Sharky 23...you should have seen disneyland b4 the addition of park and downtown disney...you would have been depressed...super tall powerlines running through a huge parking lot, right in front of the park...blegh.

lol Paul - I remember those power lines. But at least it was a parking lot.

Sharky - you are definitely catching DL at it's lowest. Lots of contruction, lots of E-tiks down, and TL is a joke right now. Definitely not the best time to see the park.

Jack - I differ then you on that statement; a comparison is valid if within the correct parameters. Comparing the upkeep between the 2 is valid. Comparing the availability of a park (i.e. open rides, etc.) is valid. Comparing approaches to things like hotels and DD is valid. Just because something came later doesn't mean it has to be better. The MK fantasyland came second but I think the DL fantasyland is better.

RU42...I've heard that too...I actually skipped fantasyland in WDW...but I've heard people say something needs to be done...actually, I did stroll through and take pictures...looking at them...nothing special...DL's is far more intimate and themed.

WDW folks have complained how the fantasyland rides just look like they are housed in warehouses (which they are) but nothing more.

Nice logic RU 42 on comparisons.
