All right. I guess I should have a few prefaces before I start so you won't get lost.
1) We stayed at CBR in the Barbados section. I thought the walk to OPR would take forever, but it was a very nice walk. My parents slept so much and did everything THEIR way, which was good.
2) My best friend who came with us turned 21 last week and I told her she should get birthday buttons because it would be fun. She wouldn't, so I ended up using the ones I got anyway to show her how cool it would be. Turns out I enjoyed wearing the button from Epcot too much. I didn't get to go for my birthday and had a rather crappy birthday so this was my long overdue trip.
Ok, anyway...
Friday, April 22- Epcot and DTD
My parents stayed in while my brother, sister, friend and I got to Epcot at around 10:30. We went straight to get FP's for TT and then got in line for M:S. When we were heading into Epcot, there were soooo many tour buses getting in too. I knew it was Grad Nite weekend, but I didn't know they plus all these other groups were coming too. The crowds were horrible. Not necessarily the lines, but the crowds. Anyway, while in line for M:S we came across these groups and many of them were annoying. Whatever. M:S was fun, and my friend wanted to ride it again later.
We then headed to the Land to ride Soarin. The CM at the entrance warned us the wait was 90 minutes, but very enthusiastically told us the wait was well worth it. We got in line, but 20 minutes after got let out because it broke down. We were given FP's to come back later, good for up to 6 guests. That was perfect because my parents could ride also. Therefore, we went to JIYI, which I've always enjoyed. Then we headed to TLS, which I haven't been to in almost 10 years

. It was really nice, and I liked seeing Nemo and his friends. I didn't get to see Turtle Talk because the lines were insane. My sister and friend got to see a dolphin and for them mission accomplished
After TLS, we did SSE and then ate lunch at the Electric Umbrella. We went into Mouse Gear and we saw Minnie's butterfly garden. It was a real nice exhibit, and I took a couple of pictures of butterflies on the flowers, but I didn't realize they came out blurry. Oh well. Our FP's for TT came up so we went on and then took another turn on M:S. By this time my parents had arrived (almost 4 pm) and we headed to Soarin'. What can I say about Soarin'? Simply amazing. Everyone clapped and I cannot wait to ride it again. Even my mom, who does not care too much for the rides, came out loving it and wanting to ride it again
When we finished Soarin' we headed to Canada to begin walking around WS. My parents and siblings wandered while my friend and I went ahead and walked into every shop around WS. My family finally caught up with us while we rode Maelstrom. We went into Mexico together and while the "kids" did El Rio del Tiempo, my parents watched el Mariachi Cobre.
We were done with Epcot, so we headed to DTD. DTD was uneventful so let me backtrack a little. Remember the birthday button? Well I had it on at TT and while we were in the car putting on our seatbelts my friend and I heard noises. I looked up and the operator was going "psst" and he mouthed "happy birthday" to me. I mouthed "thank you" back and thought that was the end of it. Turns out when we got off, the same guy was going "psst" and saying "happy birthday" to me. So weird, but oh well
At Norway, it was very cute. The guy at Maelstrom said Happy Birthday and asked me if I wanted to be in the front. I said sure and I thanked him. He was cuuute :slurp: . Then at the end this girl CM started singing Happy Birthday to me on the microphone. I laughed and thanked her. That was very nice
That's it for Friday, I shall come back later to talk about the rest
