I don't really think the employees have a clue about what is really in the works at WDW.

They might not all know, but back in '09, I was waiting out a rain storm with my fiancee at Star Tours and the guy working there sat down and talked to us for a while about the new changes to Star Tours that were going to happen. It turned out that 95% of what he told us ended up being true. The only thing he was wrong about was the method of the 3D projection.

I personally think Disney could've done a better job. The only thing Universal did was re-theme two rides, add a bunch of shops and food, and only 1 really good ride.

With as much as Disney's doing with Fantasyland, they probably could've done a great job. Because I'll just tell you right now that they certainly aren't being cheap on it. I'm also pretty sure that Avatarland will be out-standing too! Just because they screw up a little doesn't mean they won't do their best. You can't compare the pixar land to Fantasyland. Universal's Islands of Adventure is still screwed up. Everything's outdated. They took out half of a land that shouldn't even be considered a land anymore.. Jurrasic Park is probably the most outdated in the whole park. Seuss Landing is in bad shape. Everything's great in MARVEL Superhero Island but it's all old too. The best land at universal at the moment (Including Harry Potter) is Toon Lagoon. I love the 1 ride at Harry Potter's world but I think they should've had more attractions for this.. Earning your keep today, you are.....
Thanks. But he is right. It's the truth. I had Universal Premium tickets since the old days when the card looked like a picture ID and only left it when I thought it was expenisve to keep up with my Seaworld ticket. Universal is becoming outdated. All theme park companies eventually have those problems not just disney. I am not going to complain because theme park attendance for everyone is now higher than ever before in history and as long as in this economy people can contniue paying the park entry ticket prices that's really all that is going to keep the industry alive.

And just how, with all of the the improvements they are is putting into place over the next few years, is Universal becoming outdated? There's toeing the company line, and simply being oblivious......
