WFTV: Brawl between 3 guests at Epcot caught on video

That worried me too. But then I thought about what could have happened if he didn't intervene. Like, can you imagine if a little girl or an elderly person got hit by a wild hand, fist, or lunatic's umbrella? I think Disney would have a much bigger problem if someone innocent got seriously hurt in the crossfire while a CM stood neutrally with his arms out, not stopping it.

Also, I think we should stop the nonsense about them fighting about which version of Test Track is better. That's ridiculous. They were fighting about the Frozen/Maelstrom ride and that's that.
I can't speak for WDW but when I worked at SFGA, a fight between two adult women broke out. The area in which the fight broke out was similar to the area in TT before you enter the design station.
Every one of us ran to break up the fight because it was crowded & small children were right there. Not only did we get scolded for stopping the ride to break up the fight but we also got suspended for 5 days. To date, I don't feel like we acted inappropriately. I get that it could have been a lawsuit issue from us touching the fighting guest but when those adults pose a threat to children, you bet I'm going to do something about it! Kudos to that CM.

Amusing as ball pits were removed from all CEC stores in the early 2000's. ;)

But, you are partially correct. Fights were one of the reasons why they were removed. Believe it or not, the Photo Booth (big booth that has Chuck E. "sketch" a picture of you) is one of the games that causes flair ups a lot. Then again, I haven't worked there in 8 years, so...but, I doubt it's changed much in that respect.
I may have known a couple of adults who may have got a bit of a reprimand for jumping into one at CC once a long time ago...

Hah! Well, officially, adults are allowed in the balls/tubes. But that provision was more to allow parents to accompany their smaller kids. I was thrilled when they took out the ballpits. They were a nightmare.

I have a feeling one group "cut off" another in that cluster that occurs after the design room when the room dumps and it's a free-for-all for who goes where in line after that. I've seen/heard some comments made there when someone feels another party cut them off or skipped them in line.
That's a good guess, and I bet you are spot on. I'd love to hear from a CM who has worked that queue. Very likely what happened. Still, shouldn't matter. Momma should have told her 15 year old to calm the heck down instead of doing her 1960s Batman Penguin impression on the other ladies head.

The only two I feel sorry for in this situation are the little boy (who looks like someone just rained all over his day...poor kid) and the younger sister (same bewilderment / embarrassment). Also, and I'll state it again, based on that reaction (the younger girl knew not to get involved, put to pick up stuff and keep the younger boy out of the way) shows, to me, she's probably seen this type of behaviour from her mom and older sister before.

It was confirmed on the full article that both parties were ejected from the parks (not a surprise at all, though frankly they should be thanking their lucky stars that the police didn't get involved to any serious degree...jail time isn't exactly a "magical memory").

I can only imagine the ride back to the hotel "Momma, why did we get kicked out of Disney World?"... Wonder what she told him as a response.

I went looking since I figured surely someone has come up with an app for that but Englanddg beat me to posting it. That is still an app though which means the person recording the video has to download and remember to use that app. I was thinking along the lines of the default video player for one of the big two (Apple or Samsung) should have the functionality built in. Or if Google baked it into their OS, that would help too as over half of all smartphones run on Android.
