WFTV: Brawl between 3 guests at Epcot caught on video

He shouldn't have touched them. Seriously, that can lead to some issues down the road for Disney (it sounds silly, but I've seen it...scenes like this are not uncommon at Chuck E. Cheese).

That said, the preferred tactic is to insert yourself with hands out between the combatants (like the other guy in the queue did), but due to the nature of the queue, I'm not sure how he could have done that. I think he handled it perfectly after that and certainly deserves commendation and a hazard bonus!

(edit - only thing that would have been funnier...sorry, my sick sense of humor...is if the lady had hit the other lady with a selfie stick instead of an umbrella. Too bad Disney banned them...that would have been priceless!)

Wondered about that, too. It was my impression that, for liability reasons, CMs are instructed not to intervene in these kinds of situations between guests.
I strongly suspect it is addressed, and that they are told not to touch the people involved, isolate the area to prevent other guests from being injured, and alert security (I'd doubt they get more training than that). If we did it at CEC, I'm sure Disney does (for our managers, not our CMs, though I'd talk them through it before they took over Gameroom or Party Host roles, because those are the two places fights were most likely to start).

That worried me too. But then I thought about what could have happened if he didn't intervene. Like, can you imagine if a little girl or an elderly person got hit by a wild hand, fist, or lunatic's umbrella? I think Disney would have a much bigger problem if someone innocent got seriously hurt in the crossfire while a CM stood neutrally with his arms out, not stopping it.

Also, I think we should stop the nonsense about them fighting about which version of Test Track is better. That's ridiculous. They were fighting about the Frozen/Maelstrom ride and that's that.

The "You're done" guy in the queue deserves a free dole whip and a turkey leg with a fast pass to Wishes as well.

Also, the title of the video is a bit off. It's not 3 "women", it's two women, one of whom escalated it by swinging away with her club...er...umbrella...and her daughter (obviously a teen, I'd guess around 15 or so) in the goofy hat jumping into the fray by beating the other lady in the head, pretty brutally. And based on the way they handled themselves, they are not exactly new to physical violence.

Looks to me like the fight was between the teenage girl and the lady...momma should have put a stop to it, not get to swinging (regardless of right or wrong).

It's also amusing the lady wanted to keep back on the ride as if nothing had happened, and her big issues was "No, because, no you gotta tell her to get off too" "That's not fair". She's lost her danged mind. Absolutely insane. So glad those children have such an upstanding role model in their lives.

Then she asks the little boy "Did I hit you, are you ok?"

I just wonder when I can reserve my own queue fight experience 60 days in advance. FistPass Plus?

If you are referring to the recent incident in the ball pit between me, @Nemo14 , and @unkadug , I can assure you that I have apologized profusely to all parties involved for that skirmish, despite none of it really being my fault, as I was playing in there first.

Amusing as ball pits were removed from all CEC stores in the early 2000's. ;)

But, you are partially correct. Fights were one of the reasons why they were removed. Believe it or not, the Photo Booth (big booth that has Chuck E. "sketch" a picture of you) is one of the games that causes flair ups a lot. Then again, I haven't worked there in 8 years, so...but, I doubt it's changed much in that respect.
