We're In!!!!

Well, it's official, we're in!!! I want to thank everyone who took the time to answer questions for us while we were deliberating our purchase.

We purchased 200 points at SSR. As part of our purchase we were given a February use year. We also chose to take the bonus point incentive rather than the cash discount. We received 400 bonus points that must be used 7 months from our initial purchase.

We've banked our '07 use year points and have planned two trips with our bonus points. We're going to stay four nights in a 1 BR villa at SSR in October and attend the MNSSHP. We've also planned another week long trip with family in December where we will stay in a 2 BR villa at SSR.

So, we've bought into a program that will help us create years of memories with our family, and new memories will begin with two additional trips this year we would not have otherwise taken.

Thanks again to everyone for their help as we were making our decision!

Congratulations! My Wife and I just purchased 200 points at Saratoga Springs yesterday! We took the cash added to downpayment and plan to take my mother and father along with my brother and his fiancee to WDW next June to celebrate all of our anniversaries! My parents and my wife and I were all married in June and my brother and his fiancee first started dating in June and will get married in June 09...I'm so excited!!!

We could either take 400 bonus points that would have to be used within 7 months of singning our contract, or we could have taken the $2,000 off of our puchase price.

If you extrapolate the value of the points versus the price discount the bonus points the points are a better value if (and it's a big if) you can use the 400 points within the allowed window.

And when I bought in June, in order to get this kicker, I had to commit to a purchase within three days of returning home. All I had to do to commit was to call my agent and leave a voice mail saying "yes, I will take the package"

When did you puchase your dvc???It sounds like recently but you mentioned february as your use year...does this mean you can pick when your use year is or am I misunderstanding? Thank you
