Ouch!
Same except mine is a Dell 24" 16x9 aspect ratio.I have the same thing going on, but it does not bother me all that much.
I am using a Dell 23" 16x9 aspect ratio monitor running at a 1920x1080 resolution.

That's a lot of width to use for one browser. We stop at 1200px, which gives a lot of screen space to the site, and leaves you plenty of space to do something else on screen. The layout just doesn't look good stretching beyond 1200px.

No native Android app is planned. But we have extensively tested the website offerings on all flavors of Android, so you should be getting a good WDWMAGIC experience through your web browser.
You're not alone. This isn't so much a comment on the new site, but more that I'm finally mentioning something that has bugged me for a while and has not changed on the new site.
I have wished for some time that the mobile site would include a "Go to first unread" button with the page number buttons at the top (and bottom) of each thread. This is present on the desktop version (old and new), but not on the mobile version (old or new).
If I have been keeping up with a thread this is not a problem because the site automatically sends me to the first unread post. But if I have not been to that thread for some longish space of time (finally some new aerial photos, resurrection thread bump, I decided to care about it again, whatever) then the site apparently assumes I need to start over and sends me to page 1. On the desktop site I just hit "Go to First Unread" and I am there. But I never see that button on my mobile device so it is a pain to find out what I have read and what I haven't.
In case it is a platform thing my mobile device is a 4th gen iPod touch running Safari under iOS 5.
I didn't really read through the whole thread so this may have been mentioned, but one thing thats a bit weird that I was suggested to report was that on the new tab page on my phone, the wdwmagic icon looks like this:View attachment 98400
The issue is this - I'm looking at real time visitor stats right now, and there are 54% of users on mobile, and 46% on desktop. As a web developer, mobile can no longer be ignored or put on the back burner. It is now primary, and has to be given as much attention as desktops. Sites that do not do this will die.I appreciate all the hard work it took to redesign the site and REALLY appreciate you explaining the reason (making it consistent across platforms). I realize I'm going against the grain here, but I really don't like it. It looks similar to what ESPN did to their site, which I now hate. I generally hate using my phone unless I absolutely have to for several reason including that I hate mobile sites. It makes sense given your reason for changing that the redesign would look more like a mobile site. Maybe I'll get used to, but just wanted to throw in my 2 cents.
Looks good on the Dell Windows tablet. Minor issue, but harder to see bold text for a thread that has been updated. Different font?
Look for the blue dot for unread threads.I like the new front page, and most of the style changes in the Forum are ok. The one problem I have is that there isn't as much contrast between the font on the read and un-read threads as there used to be.

Always there, but more prominent in this update. Thanks that's helpful! Were they there or is that something you just turned on?
