Welcome to our Circle of Friends!

I don't feel like looking right now.
So you're off the hook, it seems.

Let's keep it that way, si?

Apparently the sale of real penguins is discouraged.
But we may be able to "borrow" one.

So I have just discovered. So what's the plan?

I've seen him before.
But my experience ends there. :lookaroun

It was actually very funny to me back in the 80's. (what is it with me and the 80's tonight?????) But when I re-read the collections, I don't laugh as much. Kind of like sitcoms...what you thought was a riot during it's heyday doesn't ring the same when you see the re-runs. I still give it major points for cleverness (if that is in fact a word).

From what did Em graduate?

Pre-school. :) :) :)

It was actually a really cute little ceremony...each kid had a speaking part, and they sang lots of songs. She really has changed from the time she started to her "graduation" (I'm sorry, the idea of graduating from pre-school, kindergarten, middle school, etc. kind of makes me laugh...back in the dark ages we graduated from 8th grade and high school)...she's become more confident and independent. Which I love, of course.

Thanks for asking.

Perhaps, si.

Well, this week isn't good for me. How next week for you?
Of course, we'll need a getaway vehicle.
Otherwise, I've got most of the other supplies covered.

So when's the party?
I just realized you don't have a sig at present...what's up with that? Sorry, I'm a little slow on the uptake. :hammer:
Eh. I might get to it eventually.:lookaroun

We'll have to wait until July...June is too busy in general for me. I've got the getaway vehicle, so no worries there.

Calvin! And Hobbes! That actually has not gotten old for me...I was at a garage sale last summer and bought a Calvin and Hobbes book and it was actually as funny as I remembered.

I was just thinking of the time I almost got to touch a tiger...

Don't know if you remember when we had the white tiger cubs at America's First Zoo. I was there with a friend and the Zoo was soooo empty...we came up to the cubs' enclosure and there was no one around. So I decided I was going to jump over the rail and go up to the enclosure and touch the baby tigers. They were so little, and they were right up against their mesh walls, like kittens looking for attention. My thought process was: what's the worst that could happen? I could potentially lose a couple of digits, because they are tigers, albeit baby ones. Worth it. Also, I could definitely get arrested and fined if I got caught...but how much actual prison time would be involved? Worth it. So I'm all set to do it and my friend stopped me...he's the more practical one, obviously. And I suppose in the end he was right...

But still...

It's probably best that your friend stopped you.
But had you done it... THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN SO ENTIRELY AWESOME BEYOND BELIEF. :lookaroun

I just saw something on Animal Planet (for some reasons, I've recently started to like animals, alot. Weird.) about these 3-4 tiger cubs and their handlers. They were so cute...

Yes!! Of course it was!! I mailed it weeks before...stupid USPS.

But I've got a MUCH better invite in the wings...just need to confirm details...

:lookaroun

I think I may go to bed. I'm supposed to get up early tomorrow.
...
Ha! :lookaroun

But anyway.
Good Night.

Anybody home?

I'm still recovering from our night last night. We went to the opthalmology graduation (open bar :) )...it was pretty fun, but sad to see them go. One of the graduating residents and Jay went to play tennis or basketball almost everyday after clinic, so Jay is sad to see him go.....but on a good note they are moving to Pittsburgh which is pretty close to home.

After the dinner we came home to change, then went out to a club. Long night for me with definetly to much to drink. Now I need to recover before its time to go to work.

We also found out yesterday that we are getting to move into our friends' apartment :sohappy: They move out next weekend, then I'll spend most of the week slowly moving stuff over and the following weekend Jay will come back from Maine to help move all of the big stuff and hook up the electronics.

Well....I think thats about it with me......have a great day everyone!
