Hi there.
I have just come back home to England after spending the most fantastic time of my life in Florida.
I am a member of Sing Live, and we were the first international choir ever to be invited to sing at the Candlelight Processional at Epcot. We opened on the 28th December with Derrik Johnson as our conductor and Andy Garcea as the narrator. We did a further 2 appearances on 4th December with Derrik Johnson, and with Rita Moreno as the narrator. Gosh, she got really into it!
We also took part in the recording of Mickeys Very Merry Christmas, which was quite an experience. we were at Magic Kingdom at 4.30am, freezing our buns off. If you see it on Christmas day, we are the ones singing and are wearing gold robes, and red and green shirts.
We saw most of WDW, and I was one of 35 chosen to record the backing track at MGM.
This was my first visit to America, and we spent 11 glorious days and nights, singing, seeing the sights and spending loads of money!!!
:veryconfu So what went wrong?
:hammer: We came home!
We flew into Gatwick and to a temperature of -4 degrees. We were sat on the plane for an hour - which is just what we needed after an 8 hour overnight flight!
We got home to a freezing cold house and had to set to lighting the fire then............
we discovered that the garage had been broken into and some nice people had wrecked my car to get to the scooter that my husband uses to go to work, which was parked in front of my car. They tried breaking the side window, and failed, then put a brick through the back screen. They wheeled out the car, complete with a seperate steering lock, stole the scooter, that had 2 strong motorbike chasins and a disc lock, a mountain bike and a set of hedge trimmers. They obviously do not have a lawn, as they left the mower and the strimmer!!!
Had anybody reported it to the police? NO!
I won't even go into the problems with the police and insurers!
So, I would like to say that it is nice to be home, but..........
:
The only good thing about coming home was getting the foster kids back. We would have loved to take them with us, but we were unable to. God bless them:xmas:
