Laundry - or my kids won't have jeans for school this week. :animwink: Mike and I tidied up our basement this afternoon in preparation for some moving of furniture. We have another water problem - only it's in our family room this time.
I'm calling our insurance company tomorrow to see if they can help us out. The carpet and padding underneath is basically ruined in the one corner, plus the molding and the bottom of our entertainment cabinet. Ugh.

It needs fixing, but the painless part is a pipe dream I'm afraid...I just hope insurance can give a little something to take the edge off the total. :shrug:

It's the same foundation wall where we repaired the window well...now the water is still not draining away from the house right and is being diverted to this corner. We need to have the exterior wall excavated and sealed. At least we think so...but first I have to call our homeowner's insurance co and see if they can help w/ the damaged carpet/wall molding. And I'm worried about the possibility of mold.

Here in Buffalo, it's rainy and cool. However, yesterday we went to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, and we couldn't have had better weather. Had a great time.
