Me too - the waking up at 6 thing is getting old...Abby is taken to school at 7:30, and Joel is at 8:30.

Hi Jon! How excited are you at the moment?? What time are y'all hitting the road?
We leave the house at 7:30 and go to 3 schoold then basically home at 7:45:sohappy: Leave at 2:45 and get home at 4.

The girls have no idea. We're gonna wake them up in the morning and tell them where we're going.:drevil:

We tried so hard to go to bed early the night before we left - I even took a half dose of Nyquil
- all that meant is that I couldn't drive the first leg of the trip because I was so zoned out...and it made me nauseous as well....ultimately the adrenaline later made up for it all.

aw..bummer. I don't know how I'm gonna sleep next Thurs...maybe I'll get up really early that day so I'll be exhausted when I go to bed. We've decided the best way to ease Joel into the whole Disney thing is to plan to do NOTHING our first day but hang out at the hotel. I asked Mike where we would stay on the next trip and he said, 'the Contemporary'....I asked if he wanted to stay anywhere else, and he said 'no'
...so, we'll just try to get the same kind of view, check-in, order room service and watch the fireworks. Of course the next trip we're only doing two parks, MK and the Studios. So we won't need as many days on our theme park tickets.

Joel, mainly....he was just getting so tired out trudging everywhere....at the AK especially all he wanted to do was sit/lay down on benches - it just gets soooo hot there. Epcot there's stuff he likes but not as much...we just thought we'd split the visit between one 'larger' park and one 'smaller' park. We can always try to do the other two when he's a little older, but for right now MK and the Studios have the stuff we all enjoy doing together the most. :shrug:
And the Contemporary, once you have that view, you're spoiled for life. :lol:

Yeah...that makes sense about Joel...I'm tired walking in both AK and Epcot as well. :lol: Actually, I'm tired just thinking about walking in those two parks. :lol:
And I'm sure. Which is why I've not stayed there yet. :lol: Well, that and money.

Well, we didn't have the stroller (major happy dance there!), so that definitely factored into his tiredness. He did so well without it tho...
And that pesky money....another reason we're taking next year off....takes a lot of time to save those pennies. Disney so owns us.
