Jenny, I had Tammy from KK (Disneyfalcon on here) book for us. I book our WDW trips myself, but I had no idea what I was doing w/the cruise and she was a huge help. Also, you can get prices/book yourself online for the Dream.

And I went through my Pam and the Magic for Less.

I'm so excited though! I haven't been on a cruise since I was 12! And of course, never been on an official Disney Cruise! (I went on the Big Red Boat when Disney characters were on it, which was fun!)

Kristin, when are you all going? Our trip is set up for June 21st! Getting to go on one of the 5 night cruises, which is gonna be so nice.

I know!!! It is so far away, but it's gonna be so worth it! And how great will those 2 stops at Castaway Cay be? Plus the day at sea? Oh...I'm in heaven! I think I'm more looking forward to that than the stop at Nassau.

Hahahaha...trust me. I didn't think I'd be able to afford it, but seeing as it was 2 years out and less money than I initally thought, I figured, why not try to save for it? Plus, I'm going with the podcast, so it will be fun in that respect too.

(And you can sneak in my luggage if you want. )

Wow...eerie....we're looking at either June or August of 2011 too....probably leaning toward June, since Abby will be going into marching band that year - she'll be a freshman that fall!
I'll e-mail Pam tonight...if she doesn't get back to me I'll look into doing it myself....we really want a family deluxe stateroom.

I thought we'd probably book a deluxe oceanview stateroom, but we ended up w/a verandah. The prices weren't nearly as high as what I was expecting, and the bump from an oceanview to a verandah was nominal.

Wow...eerie....we're looking at either June or August of 2011 too....probably leaning toward June, since Abby will be going into marching band that year - she'll be a freshman that fall!
I'll e-mail Pam tonight...if she doesn't get back to me I'll look into doing it myself....we really want a family deluxe stateroom.

Well, you are more than welcome join us on the Be Our Guest Podcast cruise. It's a 5 night cruise with 2 stops at Castaway Cay, a stop at Nassau, and a Ship day. It wasn't nearly as much as I thought it would be. We're setting sail June 21 and it's gonna be a whole party atmosphere! Plus, there will be a few kids her age for sure, as both Pam and Mike have kids who are around Abby's age...

I know! That's what I thought. I think I psyched myself out with the prices, thinking they'd be much higher. But it was less than I thought it was ever gonna be...so that made me happy.

Well, I just looked at it...if we downgraded to a deluxe inside stateroom it would only be $710 more to add that extra day....so that's 241 sq ft for oceanview versus 200 sq ft....that's really not that much difference in size.

That's not too bad. I'm doing an inside stateroom, but basically because WHF and I won't really be in it a whole lot. I'd rather just get to enjoy the ship. But with your family, you'll need the room, but what you mentioned doesn't sound too bad.

Ha! Have you been over on newmoonmovie.org at all? Lots of cast inteviews and behind the scenes featurettes of New Moon. Are you going to the midnight show?
I'm doing good, btw....just making supper for Ab and I (Joel already ate). Mike's on a weird shift today: 12-8:30. But he has Thursday and Friday off this week, so we hope to get lots done around here.

Yes I follow New Moon Movie.org on Twitter so I'm on there several times a day. Yes going to the midnight show (hence the day off the next day so I can sleep in.) We're all so excited.

Well, I can't stay up until midnight anymore , so I'll have to wait for the next day....if it's as good as the previews look, we'll probably see it at least twice that weekend. Mike wants to see it too, as he's read the whole series also...so I'd like to get a sitter for Joel so all three of us can go at the same time.
