Kind of weird but just wanted to know if anyone else had their Crocs melt on them while visiting WDW?????????

What were you doing with your Crocs that made them melt? I've been on some HOT surfaces there, but I can't imagine anything being hot enough for Crocs to melt (for gosh sakes, they make pan holders out of silicone-based plastics these days!).

nothing......they were the croc flip flops and all of a sudden they got real slimey and when i looked down..there was melted crocs

My son left his croc flops on our back deck last summer, and after a couple of days they were warped. Never been the same since, but not totally melted.

Were they the real crocs or the cheap wal mart knock offs? My friend had something similar happen with the walmart knock off while in Vegas. Not a total melt down, but they were ruined.

were they real? I get the real ones and that has never happenened to be before. That has happened to my buddy thet I met at the contemporary when she wore un real crocs.

I have 3 pairs of Crocs (one pair is 3 years old) and I'm wearing my Croc sandals right now and I've never had a problem with them. I wear them in both hot & cold weather (even in the snow)

i agree with you that the looks of the basic crocs are terrible........but croc flip flops look like flip flops and are comfortable

I wore my crocs once in WDW and that was in January - but I didn't have to worry about them melting. It was only 50 degrees.

I'll admit they look pretty silly, but they are oh so comfy

My son lives in his Crocs during the summer (yes the real ones) and while they have never fully melted to his feet or anything like that, when we returned home from our trip in Oct 2007, the bottoms had began to melt. Ot was pretty crazy!

I'd say you should be due for a new, complimentary set. That's just wrong (not to mention dangerous) if rubber footwear melts on your feet!

Hopefully they didn't meld with your skin. Then you'd have to walk around with croc-feet for the rest of your life. Sound like the origin story for a really lame supervillain.
