Ok, I'm not a disney newbie by any stretch of the imagination but am traveling with my sisters the next most experienced has only twice stayed on property and they leave it to me to do all the planning. we're going the week after thanksgiving so it's when the parks close between 7-9pm at night, no husbands or kids. we're the types to grab a very light breakfast (more like a snack), eat a somewhat early lunch and then a late dinner (going at this time of year this usually means after the parks close so an 8 or 9pm dinner). we're on the deluxe dining plan. we park hop some but i don't like to leave a park just to go somewhere else for lunch just to go back to the original park. usually if we are in park A we either eat before we leave or eat between parks if we're park hopping. here's what i've come up with...what do you think...any other suggestions?

day 1 mk: kona for lunch, citricos for dinner

day 2 epcot: le cellier for lunch (probably try for a 2pm-ish time) and hit la cava for drinks and snacks instead of dinner

day 3 mk: the wave for lunch, artists point for dinner

day 4 dhs: brown derby for early lunch and flying fish for a late dinner

day 5 ? park: probably just snack for lunch and narcoossee's or california grill for dinner

day 6 ak and park hop: wolfgang pucks for lunch and jiko for dinner

day 7 (leaving after park close/dinner) mk: ltt for lunch and ohana for dinner

I think your list looks great! I am doing a 'Signature' trip too. My friend and I are eating at a signature each day of our trip.

i'm glad we're not the only ones lol. i think doing the signature venues are a nice perk of an all adult trip...as is using disney transportation as our designated driver :).

Very nice list. If I may make a suggestion, since you said the rest of your group isn't as experienced with Disney as you. How about throw in some of the other unique Disney offerings such as Primetime or Whispering Canyon? Sure the food isn't nearly as good as the signature locations, but the experiences usually make up for that.

Heard these are good, but have never eaten there:
Kona
Citricos
The Wave
Artist Point
Brown Derby
Flying Fish Cafe
Narcoossee
California Grill (I would really love to eat here one day)
Wolfgang Pucks
Jiko
Liberty Tree Tavern

Good Choices (from my experience):
LeCellier - Good food! :slurp:
Ohana for dinner - One of our favorites!!! :slurp: :D

We just tried Kona for lunch for the first time in February...delicious! We're trying Citricos for the first time in June. Great idea to stick to the monorail resorts on your MK day.

Wolfgang Puck's for lunch was a nice surprise. Really good food and not too crowded when we went.

Jiko is MY FAVORITE...hope you love it!

Enjoy all those Signatures! :slurp:

You are going to love these signature choices, fabulous meals at all! I say if you haven't tried Narcoosee's or California Grill than you should go with Cal Grill, everyone needs to experience it. If you have done CG than definitely check out Narcoosee's, amazing seafood, beautiful setting. Jiko is one of the best, enjoy! Check out one of their flatbreads, they are delish! Flying Fish is also has a great seafood menu, not quite the same quieter dining that the others provide but a must on the Boardwalk. You are going to eat like kings! And queens! :animwink: :D

i'm breathing a little easier already and gaining weight just thinking about it lol. i'm not sure about adding prime time because one of my sisters was a sore looser the one time she and i went with our daughters a few years ago...she and her daughter didn't remember their table manners and were called out on it by the waitress, of course our pointing and laughing probably didn't help lol. what's whispering canyon like and is it at wl?

Yes it is at WL one of my favorite things about it actually. The food, IMO, is just okay but the experience is definitely fun. They do silly things that kids go nuts for. Nothing that's to embarassing besides calling moms and dad's out for eating off the kids' plates. Some funny ketchup calls and crayon requests and there's a pony ride (horse on a stick) around the restaurant for the kids. I would recommend the all you care to eat skillet, great buy on the ddp. Wouldn't mind if that skillet were in front of me right now.

Whispering Canyon is a place I would take kids, but for an adults only trip, stick with Signatures. Artist's Point at the WL is great too.
