Wedn't You Know It?

yessuh, I am magic like that. SO... someone answer the post?

You had edited one past saying that you found Dan Wilson to be the project manager.

http://www.passporter.com/articles/everest.asp confirms Dan Wilson as being the project manager but http://www.coasterradio.com/everest.html says Mike Lentz was the project manager.

A picture of Mike Lentz can be found by going to " W D W news . com " then searching for his name. (I can not give you a direct link, and don't use spaces or quotes)

So, I don't know for sure..

Sorry.

No one answered it because you answered it yourself, right? If you missed your own edit, the answer is that you were talking to David Wilson. :D ;)

No, I was asking... is David Wilson 34-38 yo, solid build, pleasantly good looking dark haired guy? I was posting that I found out who the project manager was... not who I was talking to.

Ahh, now that makes sense. I did a little searching and found nothing. One of the 'imagineer' types around here is bound to know, though.

Sorry, can't help you out with that. I have only met with one Imagineer, Dan Flynn, and he has light hair.

Maybe you need to borrow Lewis's Memory Scanner....

"solid build, pleasently good looking" and 'going to be stalked and murdered and found in a freeze in east indiana' sounds like the jist of things from your creepy description.

I sincerely apologize for somewhat hijacking this thread.. not my intention... was just that some of you seemed to KNOW who was what in project management. So, I took the chance of asking. Please forgive me.

So, Patrick Stewart sounds about right.

A flying ride in Epcot... erm..... Soarin isn't enough? Sounds redundant. And MS ain't flyin... it is blasting off space stuff.

However, some of you said that a roller coaster was out of the question as it would destroy that WS view. Sorry, but the Swan and Dolphin hotels did that a LONG LONG time ago. It is the most stupid compromising design decision I have seen within the WDW complex. A great example of how money can actually ruin things.

The blue Soarin building is a bit of a question mark... but it doesn't stand out like the bird and the fish on the building.

OH Grow up!.... I didn't mean it like that at all. How in hell does one describe a person these days without being a terrorist child molester stalking hanibal. I am really offended that you wrote this. It is REALLY irresponsible and alarmist.

I have enjoyed your posts in the past mousemerf, but this is a horrid rude post.

Nope.
Disney isn't looking to build a 4D. Nobody is.
Curious to know more about this concept...I've not heard of it before.
I was going to say...interesting concept, but NOBODY wants it because of all the problems its had. 'X' was what caused Six Flags to completely redo their entire business model.

Don't hassel the Hoff! :ROFLOL: :ROFLOL: That was priceless! Can you imagine that!?!?!?

Very exciting news indeed! Thank you for always giving us new insight on things to come. Keep the news coming!

Personally, I would love to hear James Earl Jones on SSE.

I kind of wish James Earl Jones narrated everything that was going on everywhere I went every day.

Good news about the animation building.

Actually people are looking to build a 4D, just Intamin's smaller scale and presumably more reliable version. One just opened in Europe, with another under construction. They look like interesting rides, but it still wouldn't fit into the clues given in the OP.
Yeah, true. But, I was strictly talking about Arrow's version. I'd wager that two of those is all we'll ever see. Now, if Intamin figures how to make their trains like Furious Baco have the seats flip...whole 'nother story.

Joe Rhode is on this project?!
Maybe. For a while he was working on the concepts for mainland China, but last I heard he was recently pulled from there back to a WDW project. I assumed it was for AK, but have no real information.

^ Gosh that should practically give something away! I'm biting my lip!

And let me suggest to ye of little faith that we're pretty adept at building rides so that they match the theming around them. Yeah, I know, the 90's... but we didn't have much choice in the matter... we were just doing as told.

If I had told you that a 198 foot tall roller coaster was going to be built in Animal Kingdom next to Asia, you would have said the same kinds of things. Of course, when you found out it had a $100 million dollar budget and would look like a giant mountain, and you learned the story behind it, it would make sense (though some of you would say it was "far fetched").

Bottomline: I don't give you all the details. Use your imaginations a bit - that's how we do it. :animwink:

E-Ticket:

Eiffel Tower of Terror.

Story:
It was a common day back in 1945 France, when lighting struck the tower. Those poor people in the elevator didn't stand a chance and the elevator plunged 81 stories to the ground. It's said that every now and then, an elevator making the same trip on the same day will also see it's doom. Now it's your oppertunity to see if you can survive. Climb aboard the resturant/observation deck elevator and find out if the rumors are true. Do you have what it takes?
