WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure to use Virtual Queue

If this is literally like wii on steroids then it will be fun. CM's definition of fun is "thrill" cause they are on the younger side so I get that the first thing they tell is its a kid ride cause it has no thrill.

There are talks/rumors that if AC hits capacity that they'll do a SB line just to get into the land. One entrance and one exit. Since guardians is part of that. Sounds like only those lucky to get into the land will get the chance to ride that too.

Is this the same people who planned the non-existent SW:GE rush on Disneyland? :)

I have no issue with what they are doing with the ride, but yeah I have to agree with this as well. It would've been nice to incorporate at least ONE villain (maybe that guy or girl is the one responsible for unleashing the bots in the first place). But I think the obvious reason is they didn't want too much comparison with Universal's SM ride (although the second you decided to make a SM ride those comparisons would still be there).

I'm still hoping the ride itself will be fun on its own. Crazy we still haven't gotten one solid review for it yet, even with CM previews.

CM aren't allowed to talk about it until the 4th, or at least until the media embargo lifts.

When distancing requirements end, does that mean they'll start using the single rider line?

I don't believe there is a single rider line. So there is one....

Thanks, I have one more question. Do you know if the queue goes underground to where the old Bug's Life holding area used to be?

Your elevation does change, but the vast majority of the queue is out doors as I noted in my previous post.

This dumbass doesn't know how to read an email that says, don't post anything until after the 4th.

One thing for certain that those that I have talked to that have gone. Sunscreen. Not much shade in the land and with the lighter colored ground it reflected the sun back up to them. They had awful sunburns.

And I don't know if this is a known issue. One said that he couldn't get it to work while his friend was slinging away with no problems. He gave up after a while and just sat there.
Isn't that the the main problem when Toy Story Land opened in Studios? Not enough shade. Haven't they learned their lesson?

That really sucks; I'd be super ed if that happened on my one and only ride.

Well that might be true, but you know human nature. I been seeing a bunch of one line reviews in other places since I wrote that comment, especially in the Youtube comments sections of AC videos. A lot of 'the ride was OK, but not great' comments. No one seems to be giving anything away though beyond their initial thoughts.

The repulsor toy actually looks better than I thought outside of the Disney product shots. The colors are nice and vibrant and it looks like nice plastic that approximates the metallic shine at least.

I probably still won't buy one, but we'll see come next week.

This really sucks, especially considering how wonderfully shady BugsLand was.

As a melanoma survivor, I'm obviously biased on this issue.

Looks like they built a single rider line, which is great, but I imagine that won’t be used with the virtual queue?

Obviously there is an embargo until 6/4 official opening. But I was the guest of a CM today. The land looks really cool and the ride is really fun (tired arms as previously noted). I'll post my review on the 4th. I had a really good time!
Would you choose this over Rise of the Resistance if you had to try and get a pass for one or the other?

I've been able to do the ride several time, and it has never failed to track my arms. Was it 100% no, but it did track me 90-95% of the time.

The issue is that Disney seems to be building lands with the mentality that your not supposed to hang around in them. They want you to go in ride the ride/rides, buy merch, eat, then get out.

SWGE also has this issue of there was very little seating when the land opened (there still isn't a ton of seating but more than there was before) and it created problems. Guest instead of moving to the next thing like Disney wanted, would just sit on the ground.

no no no no no no no. Rise EVERY SINGLE TIME. Like don't get me wrong, I like WEB, but at the end of the day it is just a next gen Midway Mania. Rise is a whole brand new thing.
That's what I figured but good to hear from someone that's ridden it. I still haven't been on ROTR and being a SW nerd, it's clearly the priority for me.
