Web Cams are back!!!

It's a weatherbug webcam located somewhere around the Beach Club, and it overlooks the hotel and part of Epcot! It has time lapses and everything!

hehehe I'm 3 hours ahead, so at 5:35 Orlando time, got to see a dark image and Spaceship Earth still lit. Ah, the Winter darkness... I remember waking up at 5:30 AM to be at MK by 7 to open... :lol:

The old cams were great, even though by parade times there was so much traffic you couldn't see a thing! I wish they'd bring them all back...

Why did they stop the old cams? They couldn't have been THAT expensive to have, could they? To me, seeing the cams (on an almost daily basis) did more to fuel my desire to return than any commercial ever did. They seemed to me like good advertisements.

They probably stopped the webcams due to maintenance fees. Maybe since the budget is too tight, they did away with that frivolous expense.

Actually guys, the rumor is that they pulled the cams so that competition could not predict the crowd flux in their parks. If this is true, then we may never see the web cams again (at least, close up cams). If you notice, most parks that use to have live cams also pulled them (universal)

I noticed the other day that the old Webcam pages on Disney.COm had finally been removed after nearly 2 years of showing the same image.

I was going to post about it, but thought that I'd already posted enough threads about the old cams in the past.

Ok someone explain this to me, in one photo the Epcot letters over SE are not on and then minutes later the letters are glowing again. Did I miss something?
