Hi all! :wave:

It's been a long road this past year-between graduating from college and finding a job, it was difficult to be able to plan a trip a trip not knowing if I'd be able to take time off and what not, not to mention contributing to footing the bill. Now that I got a great job-we're good to go! This weekend we finally booked our next magical Disney trip!

We'll be in The World from 4/30-5/8 at the Coronado. We've never been at that time of year! Ryan has never been to the Coronado-I stayed there about 5 years ago but it'll be new to me too due to the refurb.
****UPDATE: We switched our reservation to the Dolphin!****

We're super excited!!! :sohappy:

Our last trip was during the cold front Florida experienced this past January so it'll be nice to not have to worry about that come early May.

Now for dining-so far we know we want to eat at Mexico, Crystal Palace, and Narcoossee's and we might splurge for CRT. Any suggestions are welcomed!

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone-you guys are so sweet.

Tiaragirl- thank you and glad to hear you enjoyed May!! Like I said it's something new for us and were super pumped about it.

Zurgandfriend- thank you and best wishes to DW! Thanks for the suggestions. We love Cali Grill and the more people bring it up the more I want to go
back! Bistro de Paris sounds good-do they have something in particular you like to get?

The last time we ate there we enjoyed the following:
Appetizer;
DW - Escargot Cassolette with porcini mushrooms and parsley butter
Me - Sautéed Jumbo Shrimp - with parsley and garlic, crab and sesame seed croquette, cocktail sauce
Entrée;
DW - Grilled Beef Tenderloin - beef Parmentier, asparagus, peppercorn sauce
Me - Rack of Lamb - roasted with thyme, ratatouille, and thin onion tart with rosemary and eggplant caviar gratin with parmesan
Before dessert we shared a French Assortment of Cow and Goats Cheeses - served with mixed salad
Dessert;
DW Warm Grand-Marnier Soufflé
Me Dessert Crepes Duo - one Suzette, the other like a purse with warm apples
Have your server recommend a bottle of wine to go with your meal. We did and loved it and he loved that we trusted him. We had a wonderful romantic meal.
Bon Appetite.

Hmm we have considered Ohana...the only glitch is that we normally stay at the Poly and unless Disney offers a big room discount deal, we'll be sticking with the Coronado sooo it might be too painful to go back to the Poly just to eat :(

OOO That jumbo shrimp at Bistro sounds great!!

Awww...that is so great. Booking that trip is always such a rush. And you will love the Dolphin. GREAT location and decent restaurants too. Also, thought I would throw out a recommendation for Boma for breakfast. We loved it!

Have a great trip.
