We love the Boardwalk Inn. We love sitting on the boardwalk to enjoy an afternoon of people watching. Great location with 2 parks very close and a lots of great places to eat within walking distance (as long as you have a park pass) Wilderness Lodge is next on our list. We try to stay here at least every other trip or if the budget requires a little less out of pocket. Very quite and easy access to the MK and Monorail.

THIS. EXACTLY THIS.

Beach Club is chaotic and loud.
BoardWalk is beautiful inside, but I live ON a boardwalk here at home in NJ.
Yacht Club is my Disney happy place, laughin place, relaxation place. My family and I love YC.

This post made me even more excited for my trip I leave for on Friday!!! Staying at YC for part of the trip, and it's our first time to stay there. Can't wait!!!

The Yacht Club is laid out with long right-angle corridors. If your room location seems far away, don't walk the interior right angle corridors. Walk outside through the exits (by wedding gazebo/rose gardens) and walk along the promenade and the Yacht Club grounds. I prefer to be outside, so that works for us.

The quiet pool is perfect too--it is so tucked away and COMPLETELY OPPOSITE from Stormalong Bay. Many people can't even find it, haha. But SAB is not to be missed. The bonfire and movie at night on the beach is a step above other resorts. Yacht Club is just so peaceful. And there is seriously a lack of unruly, loud children. Just a quiet, stately place to stay.

We haven't stayed deluxe yet, but I have a conference at boardwalk in 2 weeks and in July we are going to do 2 night in the Contemporary Tower (lake view).

I have wanted to stay in the monorail hotel since I was like 7 - so for my DD7th birthday we are going for it!

I'm looking at the lounge (Crew Cup Lounge??) and thinking I'll be watching some NBA Finals games there :)

Have you eaten there or stopped in for a drink? Seems nice from what I can see.

The Grand Floridian is where I stayed for my first visit to WD when I was a kid. I have some amazing memories that I will never forget.

I don't like saying this aloud, but Crews Cup is a MUST DO on each trip, even when (unfortunately) staying elsewhere. It is lowkey, and one of the only real lounges left on property ie bar, quality food, TVs, low lighting. It can get busy, but it is never crowded. I've actually been always able to get a table, or a bar stool. The food is top notch (crabcake, buff bites for appetizers, and ny strip for dinner) and the service is stellar. A hidden gem. It looks cool too, well done in design.
