Looks like Vader will certainly be front runner for the 2016 election year. He already has some stiff competition, as I noticed this TV ad for the 2016 race:
Spoon has yet to remark on whether or not he'll run again in '16, or it's opinions on Sam winning last night. Come to think of it, Spoon has yet to remark on anything at all.

If you're hinting at the possibility of me running for office...I can not remark at this time.It depends on when Bob Saget gets his act together next year......

"WDWMagic can now comfirm that on his first day after winning the crucial election...Sam The Eagle has just passed a major new bill. According to inside sources, Sam has made it legal for frogs and pigs to marry! Our reporters on the field tried to find VP Piggy for her input on the new legislation, but apparently she was preoccupied elsewhere.
Sam has described this new bill as: 'One small step for frogs...one giant Hiiiiya! for piggys'".
"In other political news, the attacks keep coming from Vader after last night's loss in the election. Vader vows to run again in 2016...and this time he will win! A reliable source (Donald Duck) has come out and said that Daisy will indeed be running in the next election. Daisy is projected to be popular among the female voters, since she's the only female in the race now.
Dopey, Sneezy and Happy have made statements that lead people to believe that Doc will join the next election. When Bashful was asked about it... he was bashful and didn't respond. I think it's safe to assume that Doc will be running. Doc brings intelligence to the board, even more so than any other current candidates.
