WDWMagic.com Meetings?

Has anyone from the site (WDWMagic.com) ever met someone else from the site while at WDW? Wouldn’t it be great if there was one location that WDWMagic.com members could meet at? For example, what if at 10:00 AM every Tuesday and Thursday anyone who was visiting could meet at the hub in front of the Main Street train station. Perhaps there could be some kind of logo or identification here on the WDWMagic.com site that we could print and take with us so that we know who’s from the site when we arrive! Anyone have thoughts? :)

That would be cool. Some people have organized meets already so a few know their faces for real! The rest of us have to be content with looking at the pics of others and trust they are for real! :lol:

I just noticed you are from Windsor, Ca. I have a picture for you... check the second one on this link. :animwink: Unfortunately, I didn´t get to go there and cross the tunnel because "someone" forgot to mention there was a tunnel to cross under the frozen lake! :mad: The only day I left my passport at home! :(

Thanks Spoodles. Yea I know, its like I get paged every hour or so! I was wondering how long it would take for someone to come up with where my name came from. Not long at all!

Yep, not a bad idea BUT this can be done via the "Roll call" threads which appear every now and again - just PM anyone whose travel dates coincide with your own and make your arrangements that way. :)

I have met several of the forum members: mightyduck (more than once), Ariel, The Daughter and I shared a BWV for a weekend. We met (at various times) FantasiaBoi, Kaos, AliciaLuvsDisnee, markymark, and Piglet. I've also met, on different occasions, wdwcastmemberwannabe(twice), Mr Promey, and wdwboy.

Fievel and mktiggerman got together recently, and I know a couple of other members have met.

I have enjoyed meeting everyone, but it was difficult (read-impossible) to get everyone together at one time, and the fact that I go frequently helps...I don't feel like I'm "missing" anything. It was also much easier for me to hook up with cast members who stay in one spot (more or less)than to be setting up meeting spots every time...you have to be extremely precise in arranging a site!!!

I think the idea to check the roll call is the best one.

I kid you not... I was working at my old job... I worked in an accounting office... and I was handing out paychecks... and this one guy comes up... says, "M-O-R-R-O-W... Thomas..." so, I give him his paycheck... and then I realize what his name was...




Oh and yeah... I'm here EVERY day... seat-belted in, so that I can't escape... lol... come look for me :)

I know! He looked NOTHING like his avatar! I was sitting next to him and his wife at the Comedy Warehouse on my first night up there, and while we were waiting for the show to start, we ended up talking Disney, and then I found out who he was. You should have seen his face when he found out who I was!

Poor kid was stuck next to me for the whole show!!!

Well, I have only met Dawn S from here...(in person) I wanted to get together with FantasiaBoi and mktiggerman while I was down there but it just didn't happen. GaryT saw me...but didn't come up and say hi :( Umm...I'm all for a WDWMagic Meet...

I think we're trying to do one for the opening of M:S (may/june ish)
