Now that they've posted a tentative schedule at wdwcelebrations.com

Wondering who's going?

I'm booked! Staying at AoA in a standard room and flying on points. I arrive the 27th of September, attend the event the 28th through the 1st of October and flying out the 2nd! :sohappy:

I am not into the whole fan events, but I do wish I could go for the day. I was there for the 25th and it was a fun day.

I would love to go. But, I can't miss school at all. If it fell on a Friday or Saturday, that would be a different story.

Looks fun. To all those who went to the 25th Anniversary - how crowded was the park, generally that day? Aside from the official/unofficial events, was the park much more crowded than usual (or do you think most parkgoers didn't realise that it was happening?).

Maybe slightly busier. By the time the 10am speech began the stage area was jammed - those not knowing what was happening couldn't easily get past since the attendence for the speech exceeding expectations.

Showcase was busy, a mix of food and wine and the 25th I guess. Plus people had been sheltering for an hour from one hell of a storm. But it was worth it for the ROE tag!

I'll be there! I can't believe it's been 5 years already. I'm thinking of making new Spaceship Earth Ears for the occasion. :)

Well I will definitely be in the area...

Not sure what events I will be able to go to, but I will definitely meet up with people in my free time.

Why am I so clueless about this?? Lol Can someone give
me some info? I'd appreciate it since I'll be in wdw sept 23-28! I have the whole day in the parks on the 28th since my flight isn't until 9pm.

The event schedule for the 28th is:

Friday September 28 - Optional Add-on Events:
Morning Epcot®
8:00 AM TBA
11:45 AM Group Lunch - Location TBA
Afternoon Free Time

Dinner - on your own
Evening Magic Kingdom®
7:00 PM Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Begins (tickets required - more information here)
7:30 PM Meet for Mickey's "Boo To You" Halloween Parade
8:15 AM Group Viewing of Mickey's "Boo To You" Halloween Parade
9:30 PM Group Viewing of Happy HalloWishes Fireworks
10:00 PM Group Rides
12:00 Midnight Magic Kingdom® closes

There's basically a "To Be Announced" event in the morning and a group lunch at an undisclosed location that you could attend... If the morning activity looks interesting once they post it, it would be worth signing up [they only charge a very small fee for registration, I think it was $8 before] and you'd get a quick meet with a bunch of WDW fans really quickly on your last day there! :D

Thanks so much! I will definately be looking into this.. Sounds like a perfect way to spend my last day and at least do the Epcot afternoon events!
