Anywho, if you haven't gotten the info already - the pardoned national Thanksgiving turkeys are going to WDW instead of Disneyland this year.
Where do you suppose they'll keep them?

Turkeys plural? This may be just about the dumbest thing I've ever said, but I always thought he pardoned one turkey...:hammer:
http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=46077“Each year, the President of the United States grants an official
pardon to a Thanksgiving turkey presented to the White House by the
National Turkey Federation. The tradition dates back to 1947, when
Harry Truman issued the first turkey pardon. It is said that he got
the idea from President Lincoln, who refused to kill a holiday turkey
after his son Tad became attached to the bird. The traditional
ceremony is held the day before Thanksgiving in the Rose Garden. (A
second bird is kept out of sight in case the first turkey can’t go
on.) After being pardoned, the turkey is given to Kidwell Farm, a
petting zoo at Frying Pan Park in Herndon, Virginia.”

Anybody else find the humor in the pardoned bird being sent to Frying Pan Park ?
No, but I see the deliciousness... :lookaroun
That's my vote. :sohappy:
Seriously, this is truly the dumbest tradition ever - the "president" pardoning a turkey. I wish they would just end it; does anyone really care?
Oh yeah!!!! Well we didn't want the stinking turkeys this year.....we still have one from last year, try and top that!:ROFLOL:
