After reading the above post that I made on this thread the forum member "ROTM" felt it necessary to give me a negative rep point and leave me the following message, "you belong on iamaidiot.com". I apologize to him and the rest of you for thinking wdwvirtualvisit.com is the bomb but I'm sorry it's an amazing site and I thank Main Street USA for taking such an immense ammount of time to create it for us. Oh yeah, I tried signing up at iamaidiot.com but my username wasn't available...oh well.

Well, they MIGHT be hosted here. As of right now, I'm trying something out. The TTA video is gigantic (file size wise) so, in order to view it when tomorowland opens, you'll need to have some serious patience in order to last through the download. Although, it will be quicktime, so you'll be able to watch a bit while it's still loading.

I think I'll cope with the videos I already have on my computer. Is Tommorowland opening tommorow then? :D I've noticed that it has been delayed so I'm just curious and unable to wait...

Well, still not open. As I said yesterday, it'll be open tonight. BUT, this time, I'm sure.

However, the video won't be up yet. The compression is giving me hell. It's at 452 MB and 10:35 long. That's unaaceptable to me, so I'm working on it.

The rest of Tomorrowland will be open for business, though, and you'll still be able to ride the TTA through pics, just like the rest of 'em.........

This is so exciting!! i dont think ive ever been so excited for a webpage to open. :lol: I guess I just really miss "home". :eek: Thank you for the update! :wave:

Hey Zak, quick question. Is TTA the only ride going to have video for Tomorrowland or are all the rides in Tomorrowland are going to have videos? Thanks

If you are having compression problems, may I suggest mpeg-4 avc h.264, which is the next generation of compression. It's being used in the new HD DVD format as the codec, and apple will soon release quicktime in months time with support for this format, thus giving it widespread adoptablity. it will replace previous compression schemes, and has been tested independently as better then divx, windows media, real video, xvid, etc - check doom9.org's codec comparison shootout if you like (SEE Nero Digital) .

the best implementation of this codec, and different implementations yield better and worse results, is nero digital's, which is said to be astounding. i personally have downloaded clips and it's definatly a generation over today's codecs.

the most efficent, best picture quality - i'm sure you can get the size picture you are aiming for without size file.

it's probably important to keep your site future ready given we hope it will last along time, and this is the codec of the future. vendors are all lined up, unlike previous implementations.

Up and running!

Be sure to visit Cosmic Ray's for a bite, and then head over to the Carousel of Progress for a relaxing and humorous look at how we've managed throughout the years! Shoot some aliens on Buzz, and then if your stomach is ready, grab a rocket and zip around inside Space Mountain. Finally, hop aboard the TTA and enjoy the breeze.

......I guess you can stop in to see Stitch, as well. lol

I only have a couple videos shot right now, so with the opening of the different lands, there will just be those two. I'll probably be adding more in the future.

As I've said in other threads....that site is amazing! Now it's even more amazing, because I have a vacation coming up, and it helps get me really excited!

A question and a comment:
Question: How did you get around taking pictures inside places where pictures aren't allowed? AKA: Timekeeper and Space Mountain. I've always wanted to take pictures inside Space, but I'm afraid that the flash would set of the cameras or something.

Comment: Wouldn't it be funny if you were browsing the site and bang: there you are, caught in one of the pictures? Now i'm looking at the pictures more carefully.

That's all, thanks again for such a great site....it gives me the happy disney tingly feeling!
