Greetings!
We just returned from a wonderful 4-day trip to WDW! I am SERIOUSLY going through Disney withdrawl though....its' really really bad!
Here are some updates on things that we saw/did:
Day 1: Animal Kingdom
I like this park more and more everytime I go. It's such a beautiful park. This was the first time I was there during the beginning "welcome" by Minnie, Goofy, and Mickey....its was very entertaining and really cute. We rode Killimanjaro, Tough to be a Bug, and Dinosaur...all amazingly wonderful as always.
Next we headed over to Epcot
It doesn't matter how many times I go here, SE always takes my breath away...LOVE IT! We rode SE, M:S, TT, The Land, JIIWF, and TLS. The Living Seas still needs plenty of work in my opinion. Even with the additions of the Nemo stuff, it's still so boring! C'mon Seacabs..they would help some I think. This was my first time riding M:S. It was so awesome! I was giggling the entire time...couldn't stop! I can see how people could possibly feel a little sick on it though...but all in all...WONDERFUL! We wanted to make sure we rode TT because it was closing tomorrow for rehab. Once again...very fun! Crowds were low, which is always a plus with TT. As we were heading for the monorail for MK, we rode SE once more. There's just something about that attraction that gives me chills and makes me tear up...it must be that old-fashioned Disney magic!
On to MK for Spectromagic and Wishes!
Spectromagic was fantastic, like usual. We sat in Frontierland close to CountryBear Jamboree...my favorite viewing spot. Afterwards we rused over to MainStreet to watch Wishes--my first time.....okay can you say TEAR-JERKER! This show was AMAZING! LOVED IT!
Day 2: Extra-Magic Hour at MK
I'm really glad we decided to get up early for this. The park was EMPTY and we were able to do Fantasyland with no waits. Pooh, Peter Pan, and Snow White were all walk-ons, and they were great to get you into the Disney feeling. Then we did Phillharmagic...WOW! This show is so cute! 4 stars Disney! After the show I had to buy a little stuffed Donald in the gift shop..I have a new love for that cute little duck now! Then we did Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain twice, BTMR, Pirates, and Jungle Cruise...all with no waits...and a beautiful day! Splash had all the water running through it except the cannons on the drop...and GOOD NEWS.....the hopping Brer Rabbit AA was working! I was so happy! The only thing I noticed not working was the jumping water towards the end. Very pleased! We also stopped to get a pineapple float dole whip...yummmy! We then headed over to MGM.
We did TOT, RnRc, GMR, and Muppets...all with waits at about 5-10 minutes...YAY! We got into the Fantasmic theatre at about 6:15 for the show...got a couple hotdogs and waited. Fantasmic! was very nice again....this is my favorite show I think. So magical. Only one complaint... Maleficant never turned into the dragon at the end.
She just kept raising up on the mountain..but no dragon. I'm guessing they had some problems with it that night? Oh well...it was still great!
More updates for the last two days coming up....!
