WDW Scavenger Hunt Tips?

A few trips ago, I made a sort of scavenger hunt game for my family, like fun tidbits about attractions or hidden things that could be spotted in the parks if you knew where to look. It was a lot of fun for us as repeat visitors to see new things as we visited. It also helped pass the time waiting in lines and made for great photos.

I came up with a few "hidden" things just from internet searches--Cinderella's Wishing Well, Tinkerbell flying around a shop in Fantasyland, the perspective trick on Main street, the crates addressed to characters in old movies in Hollywood Studios, and lots of Hidden Mickeys-- but I was wondering if anyone knew of any other particularly good ones.

Thanks in advance :)

Here are three easy ones just to get started:

Mr Toad in the Pooh store.
The ring in the ground in front of the Haunted Mansion (although it may be gone).
The opossum family on the ceiling at Splash Mountain

Have i got the book for you. It's called Passporter's treasure Hunts at Disney World. The whole book is scavenger hunts of varying difficulties. You can get it on Amazon. You'll be looking for thousands of things, answering questions about attractions etc. Guarantee you'll love it.

We did a MK scavenger hunt once. My favorite question was in Tomorrowland. The answer can only be found by riding the Wedway. (TTA) How many aliens are on top of the souvenir stand outside of Buzz Lightyear?

I can't remember the answer- but you can find it by riding the Wedway!

The ring is, indeed, gone.

Some of my favorite details are the Main Street windows, as well as a Fastpass machine at Jungle Cruise designed to look like a crate with this shipping address...

EVANS EXOTIC PLANT EMPORIUM
Morgan Evans, Proprietor
1313 Harbor Blvd.
Anaheim, CA 71755

Can anyone else figure that one out? It's one of my all-time favorite Imagineering gems.

I'm also a fan of the "JORODI" signs in Harambe. :)

At least one of the crates in the Jungle Cruise queue/FastPass area is addressed to Emil Bleehall of Adventurer's Club fame...

I actually like looking at the survey markers too...my favorite--if it makes any sense to have one--is the one by the Odyssey Center. I always make sure to look down at it every trip I make to Epcot.

Makes perfect sense to have a favorite, as mine is the one leading over into Mexico.

I don;t know if you are familar with Geocaching - www.geocaching.com but at one time there were geocaches hidden in the parks. The CM's sort of looked the other way and let them exist. Then one day somone saw somthing, thought it was a bomb, and management pulled all the caches on property.

There used to be a really cool one in the rafters of the stave church in Norway. It was pretty high up, but I am 6'4" so I could pretend I was streching, grab it, then read the log list of all the other Geocachers who had retreived the same cache.

Oh that's really cool. I've never heard of it, but I can understand why they'd get rid of them at Disney.
