I expect to see masks sold at stores soon at all the theme parks once they re-open.

I was at Publix on Sunday and sure enough I saw masks and hand sanitizer on the shelf near the checkout lines. But I can see masks a common thing at the kiosks at the parks soon.

They'll be sold for sure near the hats. You will be able to match your mask with the hat. Maybe that will be one way Disney will entice people to wear one. Make them cute or fun and more people will wear a mask. Plus Disney makes a profit. I can just see the Stitch Ears hat with the toothy Stitch mouth mask to match.

5th gate? Just build a new resort Bob.
How is the Reedy Creek Improvement District being sidestepped in this reopening approval process ? If Reedy Creek has full county government powers, then why would Disney have to get approval from Orange County?
Don’t confuse the Mayor of Orange County’s governmental role for OC with his appointed role on behalf of the Governor here.

The Governor ordered the theme parks to stay closed. He appointed a commission to approve their reopening plans prior to getting his approval to reopen. The key approver for that commission is a person who happens to be mayor of Orange County. But he’s not acting as mayor of Orange County in making this approval, he’s acting on behalf of the state.

I’m sure they will have them at the resort gift shops too. Both the nicer cloth ones with characters and the disposable ones. In the parks too.

FYI: Disney is now sending this cancellation letter to guests booked through June 13th:

"Your upcoming travel dates are impacted by these closures. You have the option to modify or cancel your Disney Resort hotel reservation or Walt Disney Travel Company package up to your original check-in date. If no action is taken, we will process any refund due to your original form of payment if a payment had been made. If you did not book through Disney directly, please contact your Travel Professional. Note that cancellation fees imposed by third-party suppliers, including airlines and rental cars, as well as nonrefundable products like travel protection plans, are deducted from refundable amounts for Walt Disney Travel Company packages."

The biggest positive with the masks is those security guards didn’t need to worry about cracking a smile when approaching that. I’d have a hard time keeping a straight face.
A. I would not be able to keep a straight face.
B. Are we sure this is authentic? It really seems like one of those pictures where you are supposed to point out all the things that shouldn’t be done. As my wife says, “Show your work. Show me where you went dumb.”

I saw it posted on another site last night with links to someone’s Twitter. It could be fake, but it’s so bizarre it would be hard to make that up.
