The combo of the present economic conditions and people who because of age or medical conditions should avoid any crowds right now makes me think that ride capacity won’t be an issue after the first week or two. I just don’t think that the parks are going to be busy enough for the rest of the year for reduced ride capacity or reduced park capacity to be an issue often.

I think many families who even have trips book now will cancel as they get closer to the trip date and decide it is better to take the grandparents somewhere else to spend a week with the grandkids. A lot of people are hoping that some kind of miracle happens before their full refund date gets here.

For what it's worth, I always suspected Seaworld would be the first to dip their toes in the water. They have a lot less to re-open compared to UO and especially WDW.

Not to mention, all of their queues are mostly outside, and it will be very easy to pulse people through the animal exhibits.

I'm a little confused.. so tomorrow when the parks go to the Mayor to discuss their plans, this is going to be live streamed? I sorta find that hard to believe they would allow the public to hear everything going in with in those conversations.

The heads of all of the theme parks are live streaming right now with DeSantis and Mike Pence. Check out WESH Orlando

All the park reps Universal/Disney/SeaWorld already spoke.

Universal apparently will be first one presenting plans tomorrow, the others will come later. Universal was the only area park not to Furlough everyone. (only part timers were furloughed) So this may help logistically. That alone probably puts them first.

I am aware of this, my question is about tomorrow when the dude from Universal walks into the Mayors office with a proposal to open. Which the Mayor first has to approve, then send to DeSantis. Surely that meeting is not going to be broadcast live?

UO has much less workers compared to WDW. Also, they can easily furlough if a June 1st opening is not feasible for them. As of now, their full timers are getting paid through the 31st 80% of their normal salary.

I'm also wondering that if the NBA and MLS rumors are potentially true, on whether or not that will affect when the parks re-open or not.
