I was there in 2018...absolutely loved this train ride! The gorge/bridge is amazing!Arkansas River, CO viewed from the Royal Gorge Railroad

It's an amazing place! I actually rafted the Royal Gorge on a five day trip in 2008. Some parts of the gorge are less than 30 feet across and filled with rebar and old pipe.

It was scary for sure but definitely worth every minute! I would do it again in a heartbeat!!!

Portland Head Lighthouse, Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Built in 1791, it is the oldest lighthouse in Maine.
There is a seasonal museum in the old keeper's house. The lighthouse is on the grounds of
Fort Williams Park, which is open year round.
