Haven't mastered decent photos on dark rides. Nikon D610 f/3.5 @ 1/15th - ISO 3200

I can hand hold down to 1/15th ok with lens stabilization, throw in a moving platform and 1/15th isn't nearly fast enough.
If I ever make it out I'll have to see how well the 24mm f/1.4 or 35mm f/1.8 perform wide open. I mainly had a Nikon 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5 attached for the versatility and weight factor. Not super crazy about bumping the ISO past 3200 but I know I have a few photos from this trip that I did. I'll have to see how those turned out when I get to them.

On rides like this I go into shutter priority at 1/60 and not afraid to go take it at 6400 on my Fuji. I can clean it up in post. Also have to follow along with the subject to get a crispy shot...usually take multiples. If the ride stops I might switch it down to 1/30 to get the ISO lower (With nothing stabilized) maybe I’ll move up to the xt4 this year from my xt20.
