Nice shot; how'd you get the elevated shot without the flagpole (getting in the way)?

I was lucky enough to be there on one of the days when the flag pole wasn't up in early November. As soon as I saw that I told my family to head out without me and I'd catch up with them. They had no problem leaving me in the dust. I took the picture from the top of the back side of the train station. As far as i know that spot is always open but normally crowded with like minded people trying to get shots.
