Thanks. With the rear projection on the animatronic faces this one is going to take some time to sort out the optimal setup and I'm still experimenting with different setups.

For these I was using my Sony a7R with the Sony FE 55 f/1.8 lens. Shutter Priority 1/125, f/1.8, Spot metering and Auto ISO. The one above hit at ISO6400 and the previous Dopey one hit ISO1600. I'm finding if I go any faster on the shutter speed I see terrible color cycling on the faces where they look funky with colors of purple and green which is really annoying (see image below with shutter speed of 1/160). I want to try next week with my 5D3 since it can focus much faster than the Sony and I'm hoping it might give me cleaner results.

Thanks - Can't wait to try for myself! Overall, are you pleased with the A7r & FE 55? I use an NEX-7 and am considering upgrading.
