In the early 2000s, the Gallery of the Whispering Willow in the China pavilion had an exhibition: "Tomb Warriors, Guardian Spirits of Ancient China" made up of miniature replicas of the Terracotta Army and other historical Chinese artifacts.

Very sadly, you could put this in the "Stuff That's Gone" thread also. I didn't like this change at all

The museum spaces like the Gallery of the Whispering Willow, the Bijutsu-kan Gallery, and the American Heritage Gallery are meant to rotate their exhibits regularly, and I like that.

...as long as the exhibits are good. I'm 50/50 on the art of Shanghai Disney, it feels a little too much like an advertisement.

"Kawaii: Japan's Cute Culture" has been running since something like 2015. That's probably ready to be refreshed.

Before it became Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya, there was Tokyo Dining. They had (maybe still do?) an opening ceremony where the staff would come out and thank the guests. It was a nice touch.

One of the things Disney can do well is sightlines. Even from oddball angles, there's storytelling there.

Whenever I see Buzz, in my mind I hear Penn Jillette screaming his lungs out in Toy Story: "the world's greatest superhero, now the world's greatest toy!"
