I also had one of those camcorders. It was a combination recorder and detachable tape deck. Excellent picture quality. My only complaint was that it needed something to make a longer distance from where it sat on my shoulder to where the 'trigger' was.
Overall, a great improvement over having to change a roll of super8 film every three minutes, and it had sound, and no developing fees. Technological advances sure are great.

Same. Bought a similar RCA model back in ‘88. We had our first (of 3) kiddos back in ‘91…used the heck outta’ that thing…!!!!! 📼:cool::hilarious:
