Back by popular demand, and due to all the great things you all said about my updates, the great feedback i got from most, and the fact the my previous updates have been getting about 2500 hits and about 4 to 5 pages of replies, I will now be doing this weekly or as breaking news happens. So here we go again....

100 Years of Magic....

All cast members will be getting new name tags next month. They will feature a full color image of Tinkerbell, with the words Where Magic Lives. Then blue Pixie Dust will spread out from the center. At the bottom, the Cast members home town will appear, just like the old ones. Where magic lives will be fetures on all bags and napkins and cups ect ect, basically where ever the 100 yom logo is now.

Diamend Horeshow Saloon Review....

Now closed, it is offically considered "Under Rehab", and the sign remains, but instead of Showtimes, it says "no shows today'

New Bag Check....

As said earlier, construction has begun at the MK entrance. It appears that the planters are being removed or moved, to accomadate guest flow better.

Basin.....

At downtown Disney, its open.

Aerials Groto.....

Rehab from feb 8th to 15th. Reopens the 16th. Aerial will be in toontown that week for Meet and Greets.

Splash Photo....

Rehab is over, some small changes, like bigger vidio screens, begger Queue in the shop, new windows and a screened in entrance area.

Lets take a min to review all the Rehabs we know about.........................................

Magic Kingdom

Barnstormer...march 2nd to 7th
Buzz...............feb 9th-14
Riverboat........now to feb 14th
Plaza resturant...March 3 to 28th
Tonys............... Feb 7th
Aerials Groto.....See above

MGM

Great Movie Ride....Feb 24th to april13th
Voyege of the LM.....now to march 1st

Epcot

China.....march 26th to May 22

Blizard Beach till March 1st

word to the wise....SLOW DOWN on WDW property, WDW management has asked FHP and Orange County to get toughwn on speeding on property.

will the great movie ride rehab add more or remove certain movies, or is it just a touch up to the paint and what not. I can see them adding more movies to the end..the "tribute" but what else?

anyway, thanx for the info!

Cool, new name tags!! Does that mean they've stopped making the 100 years tags then?!?!? I was hoping to pick one up with my name on it :( I currently have one that's borrowed from wardrobe. And the name on it reminds me of a CP that i really didn't like. :rolleyes:

FLcastmember (or any other CM who may know), have you seen/heard/know anything more about photos in the HM? And how resort guests will eventually receive special pins (or something similar) that will automatically trigger certain cameras or other devices throughout the parks?

Haven't seen anything about the above for awhile...if something has been posted already, I missed it. Thanks for any info.

A CM at the FIRST Robotics Comp told us how the tags worked for 100YoM. That was a cool idea. Of course, it was after I rode the Segway for the first time, so anything is cool after that. :lol:

thanks for the updates...love reading them even before I joined. Keep them comming...going back in August and can't wait to check everything out for myself.

Once again, thanks for the updates. Like the idea of posting the attractions currently closed for rehab - it saves leaving the site for updates.

Is there anyway that I, a 17 year old non-cast member, haha...could get a nametag? That's my Disney dream...to have a nametag w/my name on it? Input welcome and appreciated.

you guest it....plus eyes and ears, asking everyone I see questions and of course, I fly over the parks daily, so I pick up alot of the major construction projects progress that way too and sometimes i just wonder around the parks looking for stuff.

Question about CoP for Prez weekend....dont know, haven't heard anything yet, dont think it was open last year for that holiday, and my opinion is no. Besides our park hours for that week are not that great, so i dont think WDW is expecting crowds like in the past. And there is big presure on from Cali to cut our budgets down. Look for CoP in Easter, however.

Question on China.....just the movie, preshow. The food, and shops will all be open.

FLcastmember always a great update to read and I am very happy about a weekly update coming maybe you could talk to the heads of the web site and get something off the main page not just off the board....just an idea.

Im only 16 but I would love to have a name tag also. It would looke great on my school ID that I have to wear.

Guest of Honor badges, available at the parks and through merchandise mail order, are the only things I can think of available to non-CM guests...
