Creating attractions based on a couple of canceled TV series probably wouldn't be the best use of money.

Why should HSM parade be canceled? It one of Disney's hottest properties right now. :veryconfu

So you want to create a park that will drive kids away and only have adults in the mid 20's to mid 30's? We have an attraction based on those things and if is the least visited part of Disneyland....Toontown.

Why do people feel that because a film or TV show was their fav everyone else would LOVE attractions based on it? Disney made a lot of great films and a lot of box office bombs, most of the ones that were the hits have something already. The bombs seem to be the ones everyone wants made into attractions. I am not saying those shows wern't great...well except Goof Troop, that was really a stretch, but there is no attraction in those.

Disney is a company, they have to make attractions based on things that will drive people to the parks. AI and HSM right now will do that...are they great ideas??? NOPE but that is the nice thing about a show, they can change those out pretty easy.

I enjoy mgm, its like my 3rd fav. park. Sometimes second ahead of Epcot, but not always, it switches, Im very complex. Anyway, with all that said, I do think mgm needs some more rides and stuff other than shows. Its like a show based theme park, but I think it can benefit with more rides, maybe even some more rollercoasters, yea TSM is a great start, but they shouldnt get lazy after that.

My opinion theres only terror tower and rockin roll rollercoaster and the animation studio that make me go to the park
I admit it's a relatively small park, but there's also the Great Movie Ride, Muppetvision 3D, Star Tours, and Fantasmic that make it one of my favorites

It feels like there's a lot of wasted space at MGM (sorry, it'll always be MGM to me... I can't do the Hollywood Studios thing), and the backlot tour needs to add some new props/items/points of interest. And I agree, they need another big feature ride, or SOMETHING fresh and new since it feels like MGM is the one that does the least updating of attractions/events.

But there's a ton of great stuff at MGM... I love the Great Movie Ride, Tower of Terror, Aerosmith, Muppets... And Fantasmic, of course, is great too. It's just missing a new, cutting edge, theme-based attraction. Something fresh, unique, and exciting. Something to make it feel updated. Or at least a better use of the space they have.

The funny thing about the HSM show... My niece and nephew were so excited to see it, because they're HSM nuts... But they heard some girl singing one of the songs, and they both said at the same time "This isn't the real HSM. These people are singing it wrong. Let's go do something else." :D

Would people agree that it is probally the worst park out of the four?

To me, that is like asking "Which of your children do you love the least?" The Studios have a lot of potential, some of which is being addressed with Pixar Place, and there is still more to come. Remember it was constructed as an answer to the development of Universal Studios Florida, to keep guests on property. It only had to occupy the niche between Magic Kingdom and Epcot to offer movie themed attractions, and opened as a 'half-day' park (meaning you could pretty well see all of it in half a day). It has really come a long way since then, and will continue to grow.
