Im sure the pixie dusters will blame Covid so . Bc Disney builds everything else in such a timely fashion lolAnd who said "let's take 4 years to complete it"?

Sure, if you wanted to slap something together that would have likely had similar issues down the road. This wasn’t just damage done by a collision. There was significant evidence of an underlying issue that compounded the extent of the damage and shed light on potential damage elsewhere that should also be investigated. Knowing that some things take time isn’t an excuse. Even if it was just cosmetic damage, the finish wasn’t something that could just be bought like stucco.I could have grown and birthed an actual human being in less time than it has taken to fix this. There is no excuse why this still is not fixed, 9 months later.
The pandemic is a common excuse of a number of companies not just pixie dusters.Im sure the pixie dusters will blame Covid so . Bc Disney builds everything else in such a timely fashion lol
Would not disagree with you but lets face it tough to buy that excuse when it comes to Disney with their track record…The pandemic is a common excuse of a number of companies not just pixie dusters.
Can you show me where I said that? Thanks. Can you explain to me exactly why a complaint about a building falling apart and being left in disrepair months later with the bare minimum of trying to hide it with planters is "invalid"? I'm really just wondering what you would actually consider a valid complaint.
See, it’s easy to complain when you don’t what is even actually there. It wasn’t an EIFS system so there wasn’t even “dryvit and faux finishes” (which isn’t even something you would do even in a place where EIFS made some sense). Are we still talking about the doorway surround on Keystone Clothiers? and if it has been 9 months, that is nuts... It is dryvit and faux finishes...They should be able to repair that in short order...

regardless, if it was made from EIFS or standard stucco on lath and concrete, 9 months is way longer than a doorway surround should take considering they could build a whole new building in less time....and by "they" I am not referring to any Disney led construction team. A new door surrounds could be designed and fabricated in a scenic shop and installed over the damaged area in less than 9 months... but I will say, I have no idea what the level of damage is to the building...if it is so serious they can't repair is in a few months, perhaps the building should be evacuated for serious structural issues...See, it’s easy to complain when you don’t what is even actually there. Yes, I genuinely believe there is a bigger issue with not just the door portal that was hit but also the adjacent windows that are also blocked by the planters. Properly addressing underlying design issue(s) could involve also dealing with those windows and also possibly how they tie into the larger facade. The evidence from the photos is of an underlying issue that should be addressed methodically and with care, something that takes time.i dont know if anyone really knows the problem with the building but do we really believe this not being fixed for 9 months now is because it a bigger issue or just disney neing disney now?
It wasn’t stucco either. You don’t know the materials involved so you can’t even begin to evaluate how they failed and the appropriate timeline for their repair. And of course now you’re throwing in another baseless claim that only issues related to the primary structure could require time which just is not true.regardless, if it was made from EIFS or standard stucco on lath and concrete, 9 months is way longer than a doorway surround should take considering they could build a whole new building in less time....and by "they" I am not referring to any Disney led construction team. We can agree to disagree than... this company no longer deserves any benefit of the doubt to believe that they are actively looking to fix and resolve this issueYes, I genuinely believe there is a bigger issue with not just the door portal that was hit but also the adjacent windows that are also blocked by the planters. Where did I give them the benefit of the doubt? I have posts in this thread from 9 months ago about how this was not just damage from a collision and that it was a larger failure as a result of other underlying issues, likely related to a combination of poor design and insufficient maintenance. Knowing that those types of problems take time is not giving the benefit of the doubt, it is making an honest assessment of a situation. Disney may well just be doing nothing but there is no evidence of that at this time. There are plenty of reasons to criticize Disney and there is absolutely no need or benefit to just making things up.We can agree to disagree than... this company no longer deserves any benefit of the doubt to believe that they are actively looking to fix and resolve this issue
Im not making anything up at all and agreed there is plenty to criticize but to me i find it hard that nothing has been done for all this time bc of a major structural issue. With that being said its not a hill im dying onWhere did I give them the benefit of the doubt? Assuming that the fix should be done by now is making things up when there are legitimate reasons for it to take a good while and the reasoning is not tied to the specific situation.
