WDW iPhone App ideas & Comments

becanya and I were discussing iPhone apps... It got me thinking and I wanted to find out what folks here are using?

Which ones are good, great, or not worth the download time...

I'm looking for apps to feed my need for WDW info and to add to the Magic on my next trip (15 days). I'm looking for general WDW info, park hours, attraction times, parade times, wait times to start with. But I also want apps to enhance social interaction in and out of the parks.

I also use Twitter and GoWalla to follow and interact with fellow Disney fans as well as several CMs.

I currently have the WDWMagic app, Disney app, WDWMaps, Disney Countdown, and SorcererRadio app. What do you recommend?

This is my Disney Folder on my iPad, the same apps are on my iPhone.

I've seen and some about Lines from Touringplans, but have avoided it due to it's subscription model.

If you don't mind sharing... Why do you feel the subscription is a good value? I have not justified it to myself since I on tend to visit WDW once a year. I do like the look of the app, it's just the fee that has kept me from installing it.

It's not the amount of the subscription, just if I can get the same info free, I would rather not pay ( frugal, not cheap ).

I have the Touring Plans app (I got a discounted subscription to the website because I had bought the Unofficial Guide). I liked it because I could access my Personalized Touring Plans through it - that was very handy! For ride times/parade info, the app I liked the best was the Undercover Tourist Disney World app. I got the free version, and it's very user friendly and has a great layout.

What is SorcererRadio? I'm always looking for new apps!

Thanks for the suggestions.

Sorcerer Radio is an iPhone app and Internet Radio channel that specializes in Disney music and park information. Check it out at srsounds.com. It is a great way to get back in the park mood when away.
